I feel put off when I learned that it got pulled from Narou for the sake of the Kadokawa controlled Kakuyumo. But even more irritated by the contract details of the other story I have not read yet.

Also interesting to read why the manga got cancelled, which is sort of weird. Based on that the chances for an anime seem to be non-existing.

Does anyone knows if the title has been already licensed and made for English translation by chance?

I consider it a runner up for interesting, light hearted but very fun titles. So far probably the story with the most enjoyable maid character I have read.

I have given it a try since it has quite a long serialization already, and those tend to be licensed and translated regardless of quality...

Might be not my cup of tea, and that is why I dislike the writings pacing overall. I am still wondering who else might have read it and eventually can tell me whether it gets much better later on worth following or not.

And it is by far not so interesting as to know if Cain made it with his exams and got accused of cheating like happened with Allen.

I know the forum frowns on self-promotion and it’s been a while since I’ve posted (though I was a day one subscriber to JNC), but my own story is called “I’ve Been Reincarnated In A Tabletop Roleplaying Game With My Big Sister As The Dungeon Master! Help! She’s Trying To Kill Me!!!”. You should get a pretty good idea of what’s going on from the title alone.

I’m a new author and I’ve just started working on my first story. I’d really love some feedback on the synopsis to see if it sounds interesting!

From my personal point of view: not interesting.

The power is on the one hand too strong, on the other too unrealistic. With people "understanding" more and more the "results" of having infinite possibilities it becomes more and more clear that you cannot make a good story about it. Best examples you can take from Rick & Morty which works great because of the non-canonical-stuff plus the fact how the canon stuff is strongly limited.

You can basically continously switch premises without worries and it either turns out weird and funny or just meaningless - and the show is pointing that in great ways.

A hero with that premises therefore will have very similar issues in story presentation and exploration. The best you can do is taking inspiration from the game The Alters. And even there you can tell how it can work and no work.

Such a "protagonist" you thinking of will never make the cut to be a protagonist and end up more likely like Caspar at the End of Time for obvious reasons.

This is the feedback upon your synopsis. Feedback regarding authorwise I would recommend to review the vision you have, what story you actually want to tell. The synopsis is a paradox itself, which is a niche gimmick not many will appreciate.

Overall it is lacking vision to a proper endgame and rather gets shot off right away. From a light novel perspective the core sounds like you want to get something close to The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior yet not the same. But without an interesting hook, you end up like Caspar.

J-Novel Club do not comment on licensing negotiations. It will begin translation when it begins translation.

J-Novel doesn't do translations of Web Novels, it's just a section of the forum to discuss them.

While there are a couple of English language firms licensing Web Novels for translation rather than works already released in Japan as Light Novels, none of them license Web Novels that have a Light Novel version.

Thus, as hinted at by @jpwong , any English translation of this work you have come across other than that being produced by J-Novel Club is an illegal translation.

When you say the last club stopped due to buy out, I suspect what you really experienced was their ceasing their fan translation when they learned that the work now had a legal license; most fan translation sites do that.
Licensed translations start with the very beginning of the work and progress from there, creating an entirely new translation as they go; they don't build upon the fan TL, they don't pick up where the furthest along fan TL left off, they start from word one and go from there.

ETA: Well, most of the time.
J-Novel does have at least one title [Invaders of the Rokujouma] where they made arrangements to bring the chap doing the fan TL onboard and use what they had already translated as the basis for the licensed TL, and then continue the translation here once the published version caught up with what they had already produced.
I also know of one scanlation where the folks producing it, as part of announcing they were ceasing to do so as a scanlation... let everyone know that the newly licensed version had negotiated to use what they had produced as the official translation up to where they were ceasing work. In all of these cases it was because the fan translations had done such a good job and everyone was willing to work together to get the licensed product firmly established.
