He is a perfect archduke candidate who also has his sister's interests at heart. His aim is to become the aub. His added perk is he convinced no. 1 ranked duchy to be his ally during his reign.
We don't know what exactly he put in the magic contract with his parents, but there might be a clause to keep their noses out and not get in his way or betray him.
Whether or not he marries Hannelore, the benefits for the duchy remain unchanged. His loss is purely personal that he couldn't marry and be with Hannelore.
In any case if they are true allies, they might ensure dunkelfelger victory and thereby making it moot If Ortwin has a right to marry hanners.
Hanners is no coward and will probably use the ditter field again to tell the world her choice.

P3V1 (Prologue, 20 main chapters, epilogue, two side stories)

Prologue:

Karst and Ferd plot making R a saint. Necessary

Didn't really happen. The "Saint Rozemyne" plot is referred to in passing after R is tricked into doing the mass blessing.

Karst visits Knights' Order, speaks with Damuel, mind-raping Count Toad mentioned. Cuttable

Cut.

Dinner with Elvira. Necessary

Cut. The Cornelius and Elvira discussion covered a little of the same ground.

Medical examination. Necessary, but might be much abbreviated, skipping Rozemyne trying not to get undressed.

Cut. We'll probably get it next episode. (Although the LN says it wouldn't have been feasible to do this after the adoption.)

Chapter: Examination Results and the Noble's Quarter

R informed she needs to make jureve
Necessary

Hasn't happened yet.

Interacting with retainers - new clothes, winter prep, new furniture ... Much abbreviated or absent

Cut

Ride to Karstedt's place Seen in the trailers

This is where the episode starts

Meeting Elvira Necessary

Included.

“Okay. I will do my best to become a living doll.” If she was so eager to dress me, maybe I could win her over with some rinsham and hairpins, then seal the deal with sweets that she could bring to tea parties.

I hope for a chibi scene of Rozemyne being a doll.

Not included. :-(.

Chapter: Preparing for the Baptism Ceremony

Coprophagic fey beasts introduced. I'll be so disappointed if they skip this. Long live Sludge and Slurp! Also, it is necessary set up for the remodelling of the lower city which happens later.

Included! Although only for a few seconds.

Trading with Gilberta. Should get at least a brief showing

Indeed it was very brief.

Cornelius had been forced to listen to [Elvira gushing about Ferdinand] up until now, and was more than glad to be able to push that role onto me.
“The way I see it, a fellow girl would understand Lord Ferdinand’s attractiveness far more than I would,” he had said.
...Well, not really. I definitely don’t understand it.

Another bit which I'd really like to see but is liable to be cut.

Cut.

I had tried saying that once, but Elvira brushed the idea right off. “My my, Rozemyne. A kind man incapable of plotting or exterminating his enemies is simply no good at all.”

Ditto.

The closest we get is Elvira admiring how Ferdinand manipulated R with the 'bribe' of temple book room keys.

Ferdinand bribes Rozemyne with temple bookroom keys to memorize many names, but she's going to get those keys anyhow. Yet another fun-but-deletable bit.

Included!

Choosing a dress for baptism, with Elvira Skipable. Maybe a short montage. Karstedt appears and has "an exhausted look in his eyes" which we can guess is due to him having had to mind-read Count Toad. If they play out this scene fully, will we see this? (But this follows from Karstedt meeting Damuel after the fight, which is itself liable to be cut.)

A sliver survives in the end-of-episode chibi scene.

Meeting Eckhart and Lamprecht. Probably included. At least Lamprect's surprise-lifting-into-the-air bit.

Included.

Chapter A Noble's Baptism Ceremony

Breakfast with Eckhart. Skippable.
Getting dressed, giving ring back to Karstedt. Skippable

Both skipped.

Crying over hairpin: included in the trailers
Walking to hall and waiting to enter: skippable, although this does foreshadow Wilfried's propensity to run away, so that bit is likely to be kept.

We see R in the hallway post-crying, but otherwise this bit is skipped.

Baptism: neccessary. We can play spot-the-Hartmut.

They made spot-the-Hartmut game boringly easy.

Chapter Adoption

Sylvester praises Rozemyne. Rozemyne is horrified at how overblown it is. Neccessary. I'm hoping for some good chibi reactions.

No reactions. In fact, I think the post-end-theme bit is the only chibiness we get all episode.

Rozemyne's first anticipation that she might end up married to Wilfried. Becomes avaricious of inkless mana pen. Cuttable, but I want chibi reactions please.

Cut.

Introduction to the archducal family. Neccessary.
Brigitte introduced. Neccessary. (Although the entire Brigitte/Damuel subplot is likely to get cut if they're cramming.)

Both kept.

A paragraph covers Rozemyne greeting various unnamed nobles. Very skippable, but if this is animated, we might get a sneak preview of Brunhilde. I speculate that meeting Hartmut didn't happen, so he could be waiting in queue, ideally next in queue when ...

Cut.

Wilfried kidnaps Rozemyne. Neccessary

Included, ending the episode.

Post-collapse treatment by Ferdinand. His plan to teach Wilfried (and Lamprecht) through trauma revealed. Neccessary, but probably stripped of much detail.
Karstedt learns of Rozemyne's blessing of Damuel. Probably included.

If they're trying to speed run the entire part in 20 episodes, this is probably about where episode 1 ends. I'm really hoping that instead, this is about where episode 2 ends.

So clearly they are intending to finish in 20ish episodes.

As a rule of thumb J-Novel Club do not comment on when a series will start pre-pubs before a discussion thread is made or it is added to the series page.
Past performance is not necessary an indicator of future performance. Each license is an individual negotiation.
It will start eventually.

I am familiar with j-novel not commenting. I am just launching some speculation into the ether to satisfy my thirst for more bookworm.

And I understand that each licence might need to be negotiatied seperately, and of course have no idea about how those discussions are held or are going. But I have some hope that after around 40 volumes there's some rapport between j-novel club and TO books that would help it go smoothly.

First mistake:
In chapter one, near the end of the chapter the text that is supposed to be in the speak bubbles is off to the side. This makes it difficult to read the text.
Second mistake:
On the same panel as the last a small sliver of the page is completely cut off and attached to the next page

We know from the fanbooks she thinks about it a bit (as of part 4/5), but yes, that's a more detailed concern, and earlier than expected.
