Or just remember there are 100 Yen shops. Analog to 1 Dollar shops. Even if 100 yen are just 76 Cents, you can go with this to get almost there.
when I visited Japan in 2022--Daiso (one of the 100 yen shop chains) had jacked their prices ...most everything was 125 yen (or just under a dollar at the time)
for the sake of 'ease' when reading I conflate 1 euro = 1 British pound = 1 dollar = 100 Japanese yen = the price of a small loaf of bread or 1/2 the cost of a mug of ale (however many coppers that is)
some stories have small copper, large copper. silver, , gold and 'large gold' approximately equivalent to 1 JPY, 100 JPY, 1000 JPY , 10,000 JPY and 100,000 JPY -- which makes it easy for me where a copper is a penny or 1 cent in the USA and a large copper is a dollar , a silver is $10, a gold piece =$100 and a 'large gold' being $1000 (and a meal at the inn would either set you back a handful of coppers or a silver or two- or the equivalent of $6-10 and the typical recompenses from the guild for monster materials is in the hundreds of dollars...
