I, the Demon Lord, Took a Slave Elf as My Wife, but How Do I Love Her? [Licensed by JNC!]
-
It'd be great to see this licensed. I do wonder how the title would end up being changed though if they did and decided to get rid of the 'slave' like they did for how not to summon.
Incidentally, the title's
I, **a** Demon Lord... -
Having read a certain hillock of fowl's translations of the first two volumes, it's quite a good series. Very fluffy, but at the same time, has some serious bits.
-
So kinda similar to How NOT to Summon with a way past just socially awkward MC but normal romance instead of harem? I like the sound of it but trying to hold off on upvoting everything.
-
@smashman42 It is similar to Demon Lord in how everyone thinks the MC is an evil villain, but the reader can hear his insecure and shy thoughts. It’s more similar to Ancient Magus’ Bride in how he bought the girl at a slave auction on impulse because he fell in love at first sight.
-
It's a fluffy and fun novel I'd love to throw my money at. Either it is already licensed and not announced yet or all possible publishers just hate making money.
-
To be fair, even Zagan thinks that he's a villain, and he's killed lots of people in the past without any hesitation. It's really his meeting of Nephie that changes that, because he begins weighing every action he takes against "What would Nephie think if I did this?"
He was never really evil, though, just... chaotic neutral, I suppose.

fluffy romance?? Count me in.
-
Is this title getting that many votes because its a fluffy romance?!
Such a clear sign that our current real world is lacking in PURE romance! -
Oh wow, I didn’t realize this had so many votes! Praise be! This is my most wanted LN. Sam you can do it!
Also it’s not isekai which is really nice.
Here’s an unofficial fan edit of the cover:
