Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja [Licensed by Seven Seas]
-
manga started adapting 3rd vol. of LN!!
-
Does anyone know how many sages/wiseman have been found by now (I mean in the japanese raws)?
-
If I now think about it, I would like this novel much, much more, if the MC's main goal wouldn't be to find a way to turn himself back into a guy... I also don't really like it, that although he is now a pretty girl, he persistently stays male on the inside. I would have found it much better, if he really would turn into a girl over the time (like it is in most stories with such a special setting), since his body is completly female now. In this aspect I like 'A Wild Last Boss Appeared' more. The MC has fun being in his avatars body and although he still thinks of himself as a (former) male, he doesn't have the typical male reactions anymore and is quite fine with that. And there isn't so much yuri like in 'She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wiseman' (although it isn't lewd, just intended).
Anyway, besides this little issue I still totally like this novel and would absolutely buy it, if J-Novel Club licenses it (but I really needed to say that only once at least)! -
The artist finally released the full/clean cover for volume 11 on pixiv.

Love how she switches clothing almost every volume like Cardcaptor Sakura.
-
I love characters that switch clothes. Too many series just suffer from same outfit syndrome. It's boring and less appealing to the viewer's eyes.
-
I just love this novel, please license it!
-
I finaly got around to try that series, and it was rather desapointing, the characters and worldbuilding were kinda generic, and the gender bender part isn't used much aside from the MC lying about his identity because he is ashame to have turn into a girl and some "hilarious" jokes.
Where I stop it had become a generic op cute girl do cute things around the world while losely following some plot line.Overall it's kinda similar to "A wild last boss appeared" (mostly the setting and beginning) but way less interesting.
Also the MC is a pedo, his idea woman is 12yo.

Please translate!!
Good story good times -
Please license this, the story is really good and funny.
-
Thought it would be good to post the covers of each volume, since the image in the starter post doesn't work anymore:
It's really about time, that this novel gets licensed.
-
Yeah, kinda surprised no one has bothered licensing it yet.
Seven Seas seems the most likely to get it, although I'd rather JNC get it so I can get a weekly dose of Mira :P
-
@TUSF I also would rather like to see this getting licensed by J-Novel Club. I totally want the premium ebooks with the high resolution covers and illustrations (and my weekly dose of Mira). I hope JNC can built up a relationship with Micro Magazine.
-
I‘ve read the fan translation of the web novel version until it turned into gibberish and I totally loved it. And I would love to see the light novel getting licensed too!
-
I was really happy when I heard that A Wild Last Boss! got licensed. Now I‘m setting my eyes on this one too. Please license it!!!
-
I want this novel getting licensed too. Since i heard there are a lot of world building in this novel.
Hopeful JNC will licensed this -
Here's the full volume 12 cover from the artist's pixiv in case anyone's interested.
-
I find gender benders really hard to like because none try to address the fact that a person went from being one gender to another. Its more like, "oh, I am a girl now, oh well", then the story continues with protagonist being a natural in their new gender.

Volume 13 will be released on the 29th May:
Dear J-Novel Club, please give yourself a push and license this novel! I want to read about Mira's adventures every week!!! And I want bonus stories, or extra illustrations! -
@Clarabelle
Sweet. Always glad to get new volumes for this out in Japan cause it means it's active and there are great new illustrations/covers.
