    First impression
Read five chapters of fan translated manga and first impression is not bad. It's like the opposite of Demon King Daimaou, where MC knows he is the demon king but everybody else fails to acknowledge it.
The butt of the joke is that MC is the founder everybody is worshipping and wishing for. But nobody is able to accept him due to how much common sense has changed since 2000 years ago. Its a bit similar to Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Kenja, except MC never tries to hide his true identity.

After 2000 years has passed, the ruthless demon lord has just been reincarnated! But his aptitude at an academy for nurturing candidates for demon lords is, “Inept”!?

Having the capability to destroy humans, elementals, and gods, after a long period of countless wars and strife, Arnos the demon lord became sick and tired of all that and longed for a peaceful world, so he decided to reincarnate to the future.

However, what awaited him after his reincarnation is a world too used to peace that his descendants became too weak due to a huge weakening in magical powers.

Arnos enrolled in the Maou Academy established to find any students that might be the demon lord’s reincarnation, but his powers are too extraordinary that those in the academy couldn’t properly judge his powers, so he’s regarded as an “Inept student”. Being underestimated and avoided by most people there, he recruited a girl friendly to him, Misha, as his subordinate and comrade, and strives to climb to the top of the demon race hierarchy to one day reclaim his former title and status.

  • When he was reincarnated he was a baby THEN he used growth spell and from newborn baby changes to 10 years old and his parent are like my kid is genius!! and easily accept that then month later he used growth spell again and now he is like 17!!....he is month old in future but his appearance is 17!!....its not like i hate it but at least put logic to it rather that write it half assed

The manga to this is actually really good so yeah, I wouldn't mind one bit having this one get an english translation. And that goes for either the manga or the LN.

Between a manga and a light novel, I always prefer the light novel, mainly because I want to progress the story as quickly as possible.
The manga is not too bad, I am not sure if there is a light novel (if so, that has my up vote) but the Web novel was not too bad. Rather sweet, usual tropes, a kuudere and tsundere. Though the manga did do one scene in the first volume well.
Won't say fully, but as a marker - about breaking fate.
Is there a request post for the light novel?

Thinking about it, superficially it's too similar to Retirement Plan, so I guess even though I assume this would make for the better read Sam will not license it anytime soon if at all. Magic High School with op protag and a harem. Offu.
