Synopsis (from MyAnimeList):
Juuzawa Juu is a delinquent high school boy who just wants to be left alone. One day, he is approached by Ochibana Ame, who claims that she knew him in a previous life, and now wants to serve him as his "knight". At first Juu wants nothing to do with Ame, but after a classmate is murdered, he accepts her help as he looks for the killer.Reader's Opinion:
Right, a little bit of story: Once upon a time there was an anime named Kure-nai, you might even have heard about it. Straight to the point, an OVA adaptation of Denpa-teki was bundled with the then-new BD disc format release of Kure-nai, and the rest was history. This is a hard-hitting thriller that also serves as a deconstruction of the same-old-same-old 2000s school mystery schlocky fad we had back then (still haven't forgotten you, Another!) that successfully became a sleeper cult hit classic in the following years, but unfortunately never went anywhere in regards to a possible TV anime and the novel itself was canned a couple of years before it hit the small screen. If you can read the language, go check it out! You won't regret it.
