Where are you getting this information? I’ve read all the announcements and haven’t seen that publicly stated.

Yeah to season 2, yes it will be generic, yes it will be full of clichés...but what is wrong with that? Sometimes you do not need to watch a masterpiece....
Oh and a new girl for volume 13, yeah!!

@LegitPancake my deduction :D since 1st season adapted vol.1-3 which is one arc and characters from Visual confirmed it for me.And if Im from and will adapt more(vol.7-9 which is next arc) in 12 episode it will be bad rushed anime which i don´t want to

Since this season is confirmed to be only 10 episodes long, I hope they'll only adapt volumes 4 and 5 :)

I guess I wasn't paying attention...when I looked this AM on chruncyroll's new releases I saw How Not To Summon...season 2! (looks like intro to Lumanchia/Topaz tower arc)

I saw a comment on Crunchyroll that said it pretty aptly...
"It went from Zero to I-can't-believe-it's-not-hentai before it even got to the OP."
The story continues to be fun, but it's definitely not shy about excessive fanservice. That's nothing new for this show though.
