I don’t know if this has been reported yet, but I can’t tap to go between pages in manga on my iPad, though it works fine on my iPhone. I also have trouble swiping to get to the next page. If I push down too hard, it won’t actually register that I swiped. I’m running the latest beta 0.5.0 on iPadOS 14.3, and my iPad model is a 9.7” iPad Pro (1st gen iPad Pro). I tried on my iPhone Xs, and tapping still works, but it’s obviously too small a screen to read manga on.
Tapping still brings up the controls, and it doesn’t matter where I tap, as that just toggles whether they are visible or not.
I’m not sure when it stopped working, but it was definitely working fine last time I read manga which would have been about a month ago as I was making sure I was caught up with the expiring volumes.

@lilitu93 I'll look into this, but could you maybe record your screen with these issues happening? That would help me reproduce it

OK, I can do, if I get someone to hold my phone to record it. It will be some time this weekend at least before I can do it, though.

@jdmmis That's not a problem with the app but on the part itself; I just fixed it, so it should be a consistent font now!

Thanks, I didn't realise that! Means I don't have to rope my husband into helping which is good. I'll get that done some time this weekend and send you the video. It happened with multiple chapters and volumes, so I don't think it's a specific title that's causing the problem.

@chocolatkey Thanks for reply on android, TTS will be the best feature that you can put in the App, all other alternative has some problems, best best case scenario was using iphone/siri but still really bad usability.
It will be nice if you take some inspiration on webtoon APP.
Another best feature that I love is week schedule, to see when will be available what I want to ready. They take this feature out of crunchyroll APP and is really sucks now I need to go web browser to see the week schedule.
If you could put on touch translation will be nice I use to read in english, but my native is portuguese, at the gym is best listen in my local language, I know it is very hard and straight translation but is satisfactory, I could live with it.
I wish you the best, you all deserve recognize for a very good job to bring to the world this novels.
You will be very successful if you could bring APP to other countries like webtoon is doing, maybe some people to collaborate to translate to other languages.
If you could put light novel categories will be nice too.
Some day I wish I could read Overload Light Novel on your new app :-)

Option to redeem credits on app for volumes. I couldn't find the option anywhere. If it is already there, can someone please point of out?

@chocolatkey from what I understand, play store says that any money transaction should go through them. Will that affect the redeeming book using credits? After all, we are not buying the credits on app just using the existing credits

There is precedent for other apps in redeeming already-bought credits, such as Audible. Though it seems like a shaky loophole that may get the app flagged. Better to be safe than sorry.

@LegitPancake It may be a loophole but I don't see it as 'shaky'.
As long as there is no payment being processed that is not Apple/Google and the app is not leading users outside the app to make the purchase then the terms are being adhered to.
So long as members 'just know' that you have to purchase credits from the website it won't be an issue.
I see the issues coming from users that don't know this and/or the users that just want to purchase within the app just because 'it's easier'. And then the app will get unjustified low stared reviews, along with a lot of unnecessary posts (complaining) on the forums.

So I wan’t going to bring this up as I know paginated mode is a work in progress. But v0.4 and 0.5 have been unusable for me because the paginated mode are being split into roughly 5 pages that you have to scroll through (basically vertical mode split into 5 pages). In comparison, v0.3 and earlier split them into way more pages (often leaving a lot of white space), which was definitely not perfect but still made for a decent reading experience.
I’ve kept using v0.3 to get around this, but now there’s only 13 days left for v0.3 in TestFlight and it’s my understanding that you can’t use it past that date on iOS. I don’t expect a complete paginated mode will be ready by then, but I do hope some progress is made (or reverted) in one of the upcoming updates (or some workaround). Using vertical mode is out if the question for me.
