Synopsis: Noelle Springfield was a commoner who went to the prestigious magic academy of the capital of the kingdom. She loved magic since she was a little girl and wanted to study at the best institution, and her mother worked hard so that she can attend. As a freshman, she met a son of a duke, Luke Waldstein, saying how dare she beat him in tests when she is a lowly commoner. Their rivalry at the academy lead them to be best students the academy has seen in its history, but Noelle had to go back home in the country and take care of her sick mother. The only job she can find was a Black Magic Item Craftsman where she was treated as a gofer and laborer due to her gender. A few years passed and she was suddenly fired. Forlorn that she could not find another job associated with magic in the countryside, she finds her old rival Luke as a Royal Magician to find her and ask, "I need your strength!"

My take:
It's a cheesy, fantasy romcom. It has a good rating on Japan's Amazon at 4.5 stars. Plus it is at 135 chapters on Syosetu (so content is still ongoing). A dense, female protagonist who is OP since she is only interested in her hobby (magic) and loves good food (bottomless stomach). Plus a menagerie of side characters who treat her like an OP wunderkind, a poor puppy, or an absolute monster who will wreck them if they cross her. I am like one of the older officers and just wanted to scream "JUST KISS ALREADY!"

This looks interesting. Kind of like Sorcerer’s Receptionist. Commoner loves magic… falls in love with noble. Pretty strong at magic. I am pretty sure to read the first volume and judge from there.
