Please Implement Easy Release Schedule for Desktop App
-
I read J-Novel Club light novels on the iOS operating system and on Windows and I would like to comment on a difference between the handheld(iOS) and desktop(Windows) versions of your website.
I love the functionality of the iOS app. I can select the series tab and select only follows from the drop down menu to make it easy to see all of the series I am currently following. Then I can select the releases tab to easily see what the new releases are for all of my followed light novels and whether I have read them or not.
I wish this functionality was available on the desktop (Windows) version of your application. On the desktop application I can still select series and then select only followed series to see a list of my followed light novels. However, I cannot easily see which of my followed novels have been recently released or whether I have read them yet or not! It would be very convenient if this functionality from the iOS app would be implemented on the desktop app.
Thank you for your consideration, I greatly enjoy J-Novel club and can't get enough of the light novels that are published here! Also, the books are fantastically priced when you have a subscription, which I greatly appreciate!

As someone who doesn't read using the various apps, but via a browser on my PC, I gotta say this sounds nice.

I don’t think the desktop even has an app, just plain browser website.
On the website however, you can hover over a prepub with your mouse and see the % you last finished a prepub (from the series page). -
@LegitPancake yes I have been using that, but you have to click on each series individually to see what's been updated. On the iOS app you can easily see which of the light novel's you've been following have been updated all at once.
I guess the closest the browser gets to this functionality is the calendar, but that's just a release schedule without any included user info concerning whether you've read the latest chapters or not.

When you talk about releases I'm not sure if you mean pre-pub parts or ebooks.
If you want to try a different interface for prepub parts then you could try https://jnc-reader.wscr.dev/ which as per https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3353/yet-another-pwa-jnc-client is a PWA web client by @Crimson-Wise

@Shiny yes, this is exactly what I was looking for! This site could use some styling, but this makes viewing pre-pub releases easy. Thanks!

Hi,
I also would like to have something similar for the web browser. I am using a Windows tablet and face the same issues.
