Mark as read or like/dislike

I would like a check-mark you could add or maybe a like/dislike button alongside of that "read x%"-thing. Also I'd like for both to be remembered by the site itself because it seems like it's in the cookies or something since it's regularly deleted leaving me confused to which chapter I last read if I don't read for a few weeks.

@Boi2 Not sure about "like/dislike", but membership does seem to let you see how much you've LAST read of a title, by section.
I say "LAST read" because it shows what you read your last time when you hover over a section of a book.

@SomeOldGuy You mean that "Read 97%"-thing when you hover over a part right? It doesn't seem to be remembered forever and seems to be saved in cookies or something because mine gets removed after a while.
I don't want to have it removed just because the cookies were cleared or two month has passed. -
Can you be more specific about what series, when you read it, and when you noticed the progress was reset? I'm checking my own account for series I read years ago and the reading progress is still all there.

@myskaros I'm certain I read Ascendance of a Bookworm Part 5 Volume 1, maybe not all of them but certainly most. That's the only example I can remember and still see, others have expired so I can't check the parts.
edit: hmm... the part 1s I see are still 98% or so maybe I clicked the parts again at some point and since it loads from the start of the chapter the progress bar gets reset?

@Boi2 From my experience with the Android App (website may behave differently): if you simply open a 100% read part (loading the beginning of the part), but do not scroll before leaving it, it won't reset your progress (quite a useful feature in case of accidental clicks). If the website works the same way, the scenario in your edit above wouldn't reset progress.
