      This line from Bookworm part 5 volume 3 doesn’t make sense: “ Lady Detlinde of Ahrensbach had acted as Ehrenfest surely believed was common of all greater duchies.”

        @Tahu

        Hello,

        Question, from me.

        Were you looking to post this in the Bookworm P5 V3 corrections topic?

        If so I will move it.

        Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

          @Tahu for text revisions you have to post that in the corrections topic for that volume https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/6469/corrections-bookworm-part-5-volume-3

            @Tahu she is implying that Detlinde was being a pompous asshole to those she believed were ranked lower than herself, and that Erhenfest is assuming that's the way everyone ranked higher than them would treat them.

              What doesn't make sense to you? From my perspective the sentence is grammatical, coherent, and consistent with the rest of the text. The phrasing is a bit awkward, so maybe you are accidentally grouping the ideas in a weird way...?

              If I had to break it up, I might do it like so...

              Detlinde had acted [domineering and arrogant]. Based on Ehrenfest's reaction, they surely believed that her bad behavior was typical of an archduke candidate from a greater duchy.

                Let's just end this here. The OP has been directed to the correct place to express concerns over the text.
