Not a fan of the Calendar Update

I've noticed that it's been updated so that it's no longer a month per page. Instead, it's now a series of click to see older/newer releases. I honestly much preferred the old method. Just a personal preference honestly. It feels more cumbersome if you want to see the entirety of a month as it's more clicks and scrolling.

I have to agree, the old "previous/next month view" was better. This update makes it too "clicky". 👀

And the default view is now a rolling 24-hour recently released parts that vanishes throughout the day. I much preferred the entire previous day showing up until midnight of the next day. If it's going to be a rolling history, how about the past 48-hours instead? I sometimes put off a part until the next day on purpose....

I agree. Because of the release times of some of the titles, such as Gushing over Magical Girls and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom (Manga) many people will not see those updates on the calendar update. Gushing over Magical Girls releases at 9 AM on a Monday and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom (Manga) releases at 4 AM!
@chocolatkey
As there are only 10 rolling entries on the calendar update and both of these entries are early in the morning, I always miss them on the day they are released as there are over 20+ updates on Monday alone. I even have FOLLOWING set on Gushing over Magical Girls and I still miss the update as the following setting does not affect the calendar update feed.One of the reasons I am not following the Realist Hero manga even though I love the light novel is I keep forgetting that the manga exists as I never see it in the update feed so I keep forgetting to check for new parts and I don't buy the manga volume because I miss the volume publish update as those always occur at midnight. I would read and buy the manga if I remembered it exists. As manga are published bi-weekly, it is not as easy to remember them coming out compared to the light novels that are published every week.
If keeping 48 hours is too hard as there are multiple titles being released everyday, please at minimum allow volume releases and series that are followed to stay at the top of the calendar update feed for at least 24 or 48 hours.

I agree with pretty much all that has been said before. What bothers me the most is that when I click the "show earlier entries" button, the view is focused on ~2 weeks earlier and not on today like it was before the update. Back then I could start to work my way up right away. Now I have to search for today somewhere in the middle of the page.

I hate unnecessary clicking. More clicks is never a better design.
