Steam now sells Anime

@Fezu Maybe I'm just remembering some that were downloadable contents associated with specific games...
Right, I know Europa Universalis IV had a couple listed among their DLC. But I'm not sure Steam makes a practice of regularly selling e-books.
Notwithstanding whatever cut the platform takes, I think the bigger issue with listing something on Steam is the massive glut of content. This is a well-known problem among indie developers--depending on exact when your game comes out, and/or how hyped up it is, you can find your title booted off the Steam front page before you can blink, because something newer or bigger has come out. The timing of when you wind up on that homepage can make or break some smaller games, and I can't imagine e-books (were they on the platform) would have it any easier.

@Fezu From some comparisons I'm seeing, it's not the exact same, but the only different is that Steam's video is a bit more saturated in some parts, bitrate, banding, etc seems to be the exact same as CR though.
If saturation is the only difference then that might be due to differences in the player/decoder used rather than the underlying media/video encode.

@Shiny Interesting, yeah what I see is the Steam version is definitely redder. I've noticed that some edges look smooth in the Steam version, but the Crunchyroll one has jagged eges.
Definitely seems to be a different player reason, wonder what the underlying player is for the Steam Player.

I first started getting j-novel books on Amazon. After 3 books I went to this website to learn more about future releases then joined the club. I now have more premium books than Kindle books and got one more person to join J-novel through word of mouth. You may or may not have more stories like this by selling on steam. However I think it is less likely because Amazon is known for books and Steam isn't

@Malloc Can I ask you, how did you find out about the website? Did you see our little ad in the back of the ebooks?
-
@Sam-Pinansky yes, I found it at the back of the books however I do believe I would have seen it eventually through google searches as that is how I found the English publisher for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon.
The three books I bought was Little Apocalypse book 1, Grimgar book 1, and My Big Sister Lives in a Fantasy World. I loved all of them and was dying to find more info about future releases
