      Welp, we got off to a great start today (Jul 3, 2026) with episode 1 of the Frontier Lord anime. Things moved pretty quickly with it covering the main topics of Vol 1 parts 1, 2 and halfway through part 3 - ending with with him slaying the Land Dragon (turtle). The episode closed with the following adorable scenes:

      All in all the animation was smooth and looked really good. It's on the same streaming service as AOB (C-R), so check it out if you have time.

        Pretty cromulent adaptation. My only real gripe is that the Earth Dragon CGI was weaksauce, but that's extremely minor.

          I'm enjoying the adaptation so far. They've really capture Alna's and Dias' characters.
