@Musereader yup, been a pretty enjoyable LN. Author has some well thought out mechanics for their world (especially the magic system), so it's been a pretty enjoyable dark fantasy.

Welp the anime started last week and is is spot on (as anime go) with the LN and manga. I specifically like the way they portrayed the MC's father as a cold, calculating SOB that puts the kingdom ahead of everything including his daughter. I hated him.
