just like the title says would love to see you expand to Chinese light novels.

While I don't know if Sam speaks any form of Chinese, I do know that he said that he doesn't feel comfortable with having translations involving a language he cannot read himself.
People have asked before for him to expand to Korean novels and his response was that he can't keep an eye on quality due to not speaking Korean. He then said that if that person was devoted to bringing Korean novels over they should look into learning the language and starting their own company.
So if you think there is a market for Chinese novels in the west, start looking into what it would take to start a business doing that yourself. -
The market for Chinese novels is just as good as the market for Japanese novels in the west. the translation sites are actually more active for Chinese novels than Japanese. I just figured i would suggest it is all.

I’ve actually never seen a Chinese light novel available on ebook or paperback. Where do they exist? Are any officially translated? I’m not interested in some WN translation site.
Also would like to know if they even have color and/or black and white illustrations within the text. I’m less likely to buy them if they’re just plain text. -
The Chinese to English publishing market is already dominated by a single giant company, Webnovel/Qidian/China Literature/Tencent, who acts as both the Chinese and English publisher. They're worth half a trillion dollars US, and aren't afraid to throw their weight around. It doesn't seem like a good idea to try to break into that market.

Some Chinese LN are really good; and they really give you a break from lolis and harem tropes. But as @Guspaz pointed it out the market is pretty saturated by one big player, and several other smaller ones. I do not thing JNC needs to pick up Chinese work due that you can already easily read translated Chinese LNs online.
From my favourites I would pick: Terror Infinity, Dreadful Radio, and the evil consort.

@renofury I wish more Chinese Light Novels were available in actual ebook format. I find the web novel app unwieldy but I’d love to try a few.

I agree. I've been reading the webtoon for Release the Witch and I'd definitely be interested in reading the novel if it got true-volume publication. -
@aruseus493 actually Release the witch is bookmarked in my qidan library haven't started it thou. Wuxia World has several titles in volumes/chapters but no physical releases thou they do sell some ebooks on amazon
