Missing Ebooks credits
-
Some time ago I had a premium membership and never used all my credits. However I don't have a subscription anymore and can't seem to find my credits anywhere. Are the gone completely or will they reappear if I subscribe again?
-
Hello!
They should be located under the subscription section of your account on the main J-Novel Club site.
https://j-novel.club/mypage/subscription
If you don’t see any credits there you should send an email to support@j-novel.club and they can investigate further.
For what it is worth credits are tied directly to the user not the subscription so the credits should not disappear if you do not use them.

Thanks for the quick reply. When I press on the link, I get an error(How did you get here?). I'll try to send them an e-mail and see what happens. I might just have remembered it wrongly and already spent the credits, since it's been a long time ago :P

Alrighty
Also to get to that page, go to the main site, make sure you are logged in, click “account”, then click “membership status”.
-
I'm having the same issue as OP.

There is no such thing as membership status in the account page.

No, for me only Password, Edit Profile and My Library show up.

(I'm on Chrome on desktop PC)

Please send an email to support@j-novel.club explaining the situation so they can assist you further.

This page is only available for active subscribers.
@Anssi @Peder-Kjeldsen
Like @Rahul-Balaggan said, your credits won't go anywhere but you can't do anything with them without having active subscriptions or circumventing web client's (unintentional) restrictions. -
I see, I saw the premium membership badge and made an assumption that you had an active membership.
In that case you might be able verify how many credits you have by going directly to a premium ebook purchase page like this (I will just assume you don’t have Master Sword V3 pre-ordered):
It should hopefully* look like this:
*not sure how this screen may or may not be effected without an active membership.

Following that link does work, showing me the credit amount and allowing me to redeem them, thanks. I do hope this issue will be fixed, though. I'd like to use my credits without having to figure out the urls for the titles.
-
This actually is not an “issue” per se. this is an intended feature, just saying it probably will not change any time soon.
Nonetheless glad you were able to identify your credit balance, so going forward you will have to identify the urls.
-
I'm sorry, but why is this an intended feature? It helps no one and harms customers who have spend money at the site.
-
I believe it is mostly just from a technical standpoint, that when you have an active subscription those options in settings open up for you.
It has just been like that since the site inception.
Again wether that will change in the future I can not say, for I am just a moderator.

I'm trying to buy the Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 2 Volume 3, but can't figure out the url for it.
-
For whatever book you want to buy on our website, you should be able to find it this way:
-
@Anssi the part after ?title= is volume's url-friendly name that you can copypaste from volume's page. Alternatively, you can get the full link here or elsewhere if someone posted it.
Either way, you'll get "Redeem a credit for ?" message because that page won't render properly unless you navigated there from volume's page. It even looks that way if you're member and middle-clicked the purchase button. There are server-side checks (whether a book with that name exists, you don't have a copy and have enough credits) when you click "Redeem" button so nothing too bad should happen even if you misspell but I can't promise anything.
edit: also, you can currently get a free trial to gain The Button privilege.
