Synopsis:
Noble’s daughter Mary Albert, in the middle of the school opening ceremony, remembers that this world was an otome game she played in her previous life, and she turns out to be a character from that game. The Mary inside the game was a villain, harassing and interfering with the heroine, and was met with destruction at the end – the so called ‘villainous girl’s downfall route’. And so the obvious reaction is ‘This isn’t a joke!’ and carefully avoids the destruction end…… or not!

Instead she trudges headlong towards the destruction end!

“The one who will have the last laugh, will be me!”

Involving her attendant, Addie, the deadline is one year! Will she obtain the same result as the one depicted in the game!?

Sounds fun. Will look for a Fan translation and give later my vote.

EDIT: Oh by the same author as "Common sense of a Dukes Daughter". I like both "common Sense" Novels.

Same artist, not same author.

Upvote!!! This should have been suggested way earlier. Quite some time ago I've read the fan translation of the web novel version and loved it! This novel absolutely must getting licensed!!!!!!

Here are the covers of the volumes, if someone is interested:

The original webnovel is complete; no updates since December.
The LNs also ran for 7 volumes.

@zz2000 Is the light novel completed, or is it still ongoing?

[saskir]

@myskaros Opps. My bad.

[zz2000]

@Clarabelle I think it's complete; there's been no new releases since Dec 2019 and its story summary corresponds with the last updated WN content.

Agreed!! This story is hysterical, would love to see an official translation!

[dawningspring]

This is my absolute favourite otome isekai out there. Unfortunately, the fantranslations are completely unreadable even by fantranslation standards, so I read it in Japanese, which makes it hard to recommend to anyone. Would love to see an official release of this!

Upvoted. I didn't read the fan-translation (don't quote me on that, but I recall it being so bad that I couldn't finish a single chapter) but the manga is pretty interesting. The characters are pretty interesting and have entertaining gimmicks, and the MC actually has a pretty good reason why she desires to get the bad end.

By the way, it's actually one of earlier otome villainess isekais. If I'm not mistaken, the original WN started coming out in 2014, two weeks before Bakarina.

Yes, I would love to read this. I caught some of the manga and would love to read the light novel.

Licensed by J-Novel Club.

Edit: My mistake, the license is the for the manga.

[myskaros]

Whoops, didn't notice this was for the LN and not the manga, sorry about that!

Maybe the "licensed" post should be changed as well to reflect that?

[Geezer Weasalopes]

I'm enjoying the [JNC] manga immensely, and would really like to read the LN as well.

[Kotenmaru]

Would love to see the LN translated, since the manga is such a fun read.
