Any Deals You're Looking to Get Black Friday?
-
@ren-chan
I haven't bought them yet. Waiting for the end of the week to see anything else pops up that's good. -
I dunno if the deals on STEAM count as Black Friday deals, but I'm looking at a few visual novels / story based pixel games there.
Namely:
Tokyo Babel
Always Sometimes Monsters
Cho Dengeki Striker
If My Heart Had Wings
The House in Fata Morgana
Tokyo Dark
Oxenfree
Sunrider Liberation Day
Grisaia sequels (I haven't touched Fruits of Grisaia though).
Shuffle (this is on sale a lot for half off, but I don't want to miss it if the license ever got pulled).
The Silver Case
The Letter
The Devil on a G-string
Aselia The Eternal
Himawari
Gakthun of the Golden Lightning
Umineko: Question Arc
Visual Novel Maker
Asperite (or Aesprite? The sprite creation tool).
I don't want to download any sketchy patches, so whatever I get if anything I hope is full enough story wise without adding those scenes.

Root Letter is 5 bucks on STEAM during the sale. That seems pretty great for a game that was a retail title on PS4 and Vita. I haven't touched my PS4 copy though. xC
-
I still laugh whenever I read the name "The Devil on G-String", even if I know what it's actually referring to. Btw, anyone found any deals for digital Google PlayStore Gift cards?? E-mail sent.
-
Looking to get the new assassins creed game. Anyone know what the best retailer is for getting the steelbook gold edition of it?
-
I remember Root Letter, I got it for PS4 and did one ending lol I should finish it
-
A lot of the Black Friday deals are live now (Best Buy, GameStop, NewEgg, Microsoft Store).
Best Buy
Disgaea 5 (20 bucks)
Many stores
Persona 5 (29.99)
Mario and Rabbids (29.99)
Edit: Apparently, Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorers Edition was briefly available for 29 dollars on Walmart's site before going out of stock. It still shows as that price on it's page if you Google search for it, so probably YMMV if you pull that up for proof and go to a store that has it.
Play Asia
Star Fox Zero (14 bucks)
Edit 2: Sam's Club had the SNES Classic in stock tonight! 8 dollar temp membership fee was a stinker, as was the 5.50 shipping, but still better than most scalpers' prices. =]

Is this the new one. Wario64 posted:
Assassin's Creed Origins (PS4) is $39.99 at Amazon
I need to go to bed.

@terrence same it's 3:25 and I haven't slept in the past like 40 hours.
-
Before I go to bed, one tip:
Put a game you want in the cart at Target, and check the price at cart before buying elsewhere. Target selling a lot of games 5 bucks cheaper than Amazon and other retailers (w free shipping too).
Persona 5 is 25 bucks at Target.

Assassin's Creed Origins is now 35.
Amazon trying to keep up with Target's 5 dollars off their prices. Fight fight fight!
-
I didn't end up getting Star Fox Zero from Play Asia because of dat shipping cost. Raised the price to basically a buck or two cheaper than elsewhere.
I did get my White Album 2 order in though. Third major import game I've gotten. =)

The Devil on G-String
Oh, it's not a hentai game? Just took a look and it's not. Thanks, wouldn't have caught on if it weren't for your comment, Steam has been going downhill about mature games.

I thought it was too because of that name.
Anything with Sakura or Neko in the name you can ignore I think. And anything with Moe blobs. xC
-
@alocervancouver I'm pretty sure the original game was an eroge, but Denpasoft always release an All Ages version for Steam and then make a +18 patch you can acquire from their site, like with the Grisaia series and NekoPara, but I don't think they've made the patch for The Devil on G-String... still laughing about that xDDD I seriously would have never associated it with classical music without reading the description xDDD it's such a misleading title. How is anyone supposed to know that Der Elkönig is known as "Demon Lord" in Japanese??

Maybe someone can help me here. I'm looking for a wireless mic so I can move around a bit while I record, but the key is it has to plug in to a 3.5mm jack.
Can't be USB, and the device I'll be plugging it into isn't Bluetooth enabled (it's an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2, which records gameplay directly to the capture card, no computer in between).
-
Why not get a 3.5mm-to-Bluetooth adapter, then use a Bluetooth wireless mic?
-
What did you guys get in your haul?
I got:
-
Persona 5 (25)
-
Disgaea 5 (20)
-
Record of Lodoss War: Gray Witch Novel (used some general book code to take a few percent off)
-
Super SNES Classic (grabbed it for a relative to give to another relative).
-
Relentless (The New England Patriots' Julian Edelman book)
-
Google Play Cred (got Juni Taisen on Google Books).
I was eyeing an Echo Dot... Decided not to buy it myself on the off chance someone else gets me one.
Also eyeing Galko Chan 4, but I wouldn't know what manga / LN to pair it with.

Something like this? I hope it works.

Any recommendations for what to pair it with?

@terrence
I ordered some OPM volumes for a Christmas present. Got a frame for my No Game No Life Zero poster. And placed my preorder through a proxy service for Arifureta volume 7 (all the limited editions and the Drama CD), and volume 1 of the Arifureta prequel. -
got a lot of google play credit... wasted it all on Fate/Grand Order... no Scathach FML
