Sexiled: My Sexist Party Leader Kicked Me Out, So I Teamed Up With a Mythical Sorceress! ► Caught up to JP with 2 volumes translated. (No release date for volume 3 in JP yet.)
So is it confirmed a 3rd title is coming? I have read some conflicting things on this, but I absolutely want more.

No, there is no confirmation yet. All I know is that the series is not marked as complete but neither officially canceled. The author might be working on V3 or it might be (unofficially) canceled for all we know so far...
EDIT: I updated the wording in the first post to
No info on volume 3 in JP yet.
so it's a bit more clear (I hope?). -
Sexiled for the most part is finished. If you read both volumes you would understand. I guess the author could write more, but I don't see it happening.
-
@LegitPancake If I recall right the WN has more content beyond the one in LN V2, which is why I was thinking there might be a V3.

Altina and Der Werewolf I already read so Stratus would be the only title that really catches my eye. I've heard mixed things about it though so...

I think you're better off using your time for something different. The first half of IS is okay(?) but the second half of the series is a jumbled mess of random events without any logical/proper explanation or anything even remotely similar.

@Terabyte perhaps we should treat it like some people treat Highlander ("good thing they only ever made one movie!") and say "good thing they only made one season of the anime and there never was an LN" :)

Shouldn't the Highlander movie be better described as "there was only one!"?
-
@HarmlessDave See, I can appreciate good trash from time to time. I remember liking the 2nd Highlander movie because it was so stupidly weird, though it's been years since I've seen it.
But yeah, I suspect my time is better spent checking out some of the new series. Or even
whispers
catching up on some of the physical, non-J-Novel books I've got sitting here waiting for my attention.
-
I'm a bit late but the first post's updated now with July catchups.
-
Demon Lord Retry for me I guess (if I do any catch-up).
The rest I'm mostly buying over time. (Except Archdemons, kinda skipping for now).
-
I put Archdemon on hold after V6 but I plan on buying the premium ebooks so I won't rush reading it on catchup; I'm caught up with FMP and Retry!; I'm not interested in Seeking Sister and I dropped Orphen after V5.
Admittedly, there's not many series that could interest me on catchup at this point since I'm caught up with almost everything after following JNC for a while; it's still a great value for new subscribers though.
-
I buy the premium editions for Archdemon. Sister and Stabber aren't my cup of tea.
I gave up on Retry when the farce level kept increasing in volume 1, but I might try again and see if it changes my mind.
-
Updated the first post with August catchups: 7 series this time around.
I'm already caught up with 4 and I'm not interested in checking the other 3 for now. I do have Clockwork Planet on my read list but since there's no volume 5 in sight in Japan for now I might as well focus on other series.
-
I enjoyed the first 10 or so volumes of Little Apocalypse, after which it felt like more of the same (in a bad way) for me. I'd suggest anyone trying it to read until you're tired of the premise then read the last 2 (or was it 3?) volumes for the series conclusion.
Holy Knight's Dark Road was more fun than I expected it to be. To enjoy it you might need to realize that the edgelord routine is 90% method acting for his goal, and underneath he's just a nice kid with a warm heart.
-
@Terabyte I really like Clockwork Planet, it's fun and absurd in a special way. But yeah, no vol 5 in sight makes it hard to recommend you rush out to read it. It's no spoiler to say that while it doesn't end on a cliffhanger or anything, volume 4 very obviously wasn't intended as a end.
Most of these I'm already up to speed on or already passed on reading so don't think I'll be joining in this month.
-
@Terabyte Yeah, Clockwork Planet definitely has the unfinished feel all over it. And I'm thinking at least two more volumes are needed. (If you do read it, you'll see why.) I'm not very hopeful.
-
@Paul-Nebeling Reading various comments about Clockwork, it has a double-whammy of health problems (creator and author).
-
@SomeOldGuy I've heard the same, which is another reason why I'm not holding out much hope for it to get finished.
