Who is your favourite hero and why? They can be from anything from western media to eastern media.

One of my favourites has got to be Batman, the main reason has to do with a character named Ace.

Picture that of what I mean (apparently, you cannot put pictures in the spoiler bit).

Okabe from Steins Gate. Starts as a Chuuni named Hououin Kyouma, when crap hits the fan he becomes the anxiety driven Okabe Rintaro struggling alone to find solutions, and then through the help of his friends, becomes something of a hero.

Love the design with the matching lab coats for him and Kuristina too. Any time they flap / unfurl their coat... 😍

Taran from The Chronicles of Prydain.

While I wouldn't exactly call him a rebuttal to Campbell's prototypical hero, he runs counter to many of the genre hero tropes. He's never a "hero" until the very end of the story, rather his transformation is simply from a boy to a man and all the trials and tribulations that come with that journey, framed in the setting of Welsh mythology. He's not the hero's sidekick either; while he aspires to become Gwydion and beat back Arawn, and saves and is saved by Gwydion numerous times, his journey leads him to discover that while he's not a hero, he can still be heroic, and he's no less important than the real hero.

Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.

                Rance...

Who in the heck did I just Google Search? I may need to play this visual novel madness (if that's who you were referring to). But I'm guessing it's not available legally on STEAM, so I won't have a chance to play it. =P

@terrence Start with Sengoku Rance. It's the most accessible and has the best gameplay. You can find the fan translation on the internet somewhere. No clue when MangaGamer will do their release of it.

She is awesome, created in a lab by an off shoot branch of weapon x, and raised and trained to be the perfect Assassin. she later escapes and is pretty much a killer who wants to redeem herself but doesn't believe she can cause she's killed to many people, and only sees herself has a monster, also she wants to be her own person and not some bad copy of wolverine that every one see's her has.

Nathan Brazil from the Well of Souls series by Jack Chalker. He's kind of the reluctant caretaker of the universe, but isn't OP at all. You're never quite sure if he's actually God, or just some poor guy that got stuck with the job.

                        Cardcaptor Sakura

Sailor Moon, Whos that? Cardcaptor Sakura is the Magical Girl we do not deserve but the Magical Girl we all need!

few great Magical Girls >= Cardcaptor Sakura >= Most Magical Girls >= Sailor Moon >= few horrendous Magical Girls

Cardcaptor Sakura is truly a top-tier Magical Girl, therefore, she is a top-tier Hero.
