The Death Mage Who Doesn’t Want a Fourth Time [Licensed by One Peace Books]
-
the beginning is too cruel to soo good an this is GOLD
-
yeah, fingers crossed that this gets picked up, preferably by JNC. Now every time we get announcements of a new batch of licenses I'm hoping for this one.
-
@yumenokage well JNC have a panel at Anime Expo next month so we will see:D
-
Only problem is I don’t think any English licensor has been able to get deal with this publisher, let alone JNC.
-
@legitpancake Seven Seas got one from them. And since the JP publisher is small if I'm not mistaken, it might be more of a matter of English publishers not really trying to get stuff from them.
-
Yeah they got that SCP one
-
fingers crossed for a license announcement at Anime expo.

It‘s a really interesting and exiting novel. It would be nice, if it gets licensed!
-
Great novel, hope it gets translated
-
Does this novel has a chance to get licensed?
-
Every LN has a chance to be licensed.
This particular LN’s chance is probably closer to 0% then 100%
only because no one has previously licensed form the JP pubsliher Hifumi ShoboI am like 95% sure no one has licensed anything from them, if any company has someone will correct me shortly.Even though 7S got one I will still say this title is closer to 0 then 100
-
@rahul-balaggan Seven Seas licensed SCP Foundation: Iris Through the Looking-Glass from Hifumi Shobo.
-
Seven Seas has a reader survey every month, keep submitting this light novel as suggestion, maybe one day it will be picked up.

The website that is hosting English translation of the web novel got a face lift and now we have a monthly view counter for death mage that sits at nearly 4 million views. That is four million views per month... What else do you need to know? Go and try licensing it!
-
@zing You mean Syosetu? Japanese popularity doesn't always equal English popularity. It is the third most popular series on NovelUpdates of all time, however, which is significant, though I'm not sure how you'd be able to convince even a small percentage of those web novel readers to support the official light novel. Yen Press seems to be pretty successful with Death March, though, and that web novel is NU's number 2 series of all time.

@legitpancake Fixed my post, sorry for initial confusion. I was talking about website hosting English translation of the web novel.
Death March is second, Death Mage is third, funny how death seems to be popular.
