    Description
    Everyone in a high school is suddenly transported to another world. As they are attacked by monsters they find that some of the students now have superpowers. They organize themselves into two groups. Those without powers are called the Stay Home Group and those with them are called the Exploration Group. On a day where most of the Exploration Group is out, the remaining ones that stay behind start the slaughtering and raping of the Stay Home Group.

    Here we meet our protagonist, an average guy with no abilities who had just barely escaped death at the hands of his schoolmates. He ends up far away in a cave on the verge of death, exhausted and wounded when a slime enters the cave and starts eating away at his hand. All he can do is utter, “…please… someone out there… help me….”

    @rabusmar okay... So what is the pull of this? I feel like I'm missing some piece of a puzzle... The student without any special ability suddenly becomes a Pokégirl monster tamer?

    Hmm, a group isekai, uh?

    The setup is similar to Arifureta, or it's even closer to Dungeon Seeker; class gets transported, some people have overpowered abilities, others don't, Stanford prison experiment wombo-combo, "weak" students get more or less enslaved by their stronger classmates. MC finds out he was just never exposed to his ability, which is the monster taming ability, since all the strong kids just killed all the monsters, so on the day some of the strong kids began indiscriminately killing and raping their weak classmates, he runs away, discovers this ability, and uses it to take revenge.

    Since it's borrowing so heavily from other class isekai setups, the main draw becomes finding out what monsters he can tame, how he uses them, and whether any other classmates join him or not. The first monster (slime) is pretty interesting, particularly with regards to one of the first orders he gives it, the second one too (the humanoid doll on the cover) has some potential in how it changes the party dynamic.

    I don't know enough about how the story progresses to be solidly behind it, but I wouldn't say no to having more to read.

    @myskaros

    I'd relate it more to Boku wa Isekai de Fuyo Mahou to Shoukan Mahou wo Tenbin ni Kakeru in that an entire school is transported to another world.

    @aruseus493 Ah, I don't remember the setting that well; I've only read the scanlated manga, so that detail is pretty trivial in light of what the story is trying to do :x if it becomes relevant later, I have no idea xD

  • @fozzedout I like that it's quite character based. The main character is traumatized because of what happened in the colony and develops a strong distrust against others humans. He's weak (at least up to what is translated), and also I find the way his ability works quite interesting

    @rabusmar I mentioned pokegirls as a joke (I thought it was just monsters), I'll up vote it just for that twist.

  • i want to bring this up to clarify an above comment. At least as far as i've read in the fan translations it's believed that all the people brought over have a unique power it's just some woke up right at the start and others need a catalyst. Example main character getting his arm gnawed on by a slime
