@happy YP most likely? Sam already said he's not interested in it. And I don't see Sol Press getting it either honestly. Seven Seas? Dunno...

Yen Press would definitely have first choice, since it’s a big-name Kado title, they have the manga, etc. I very much doubt they would get it though.

Yeah I also tend to agree with that, YP were the first to come to my mind as well. It seems like YP have the biggest titles in the LN market right now.

i don't care just hope someone picks it up other than "one piece books" since the headache with the rising of the shield hero being constantly delayed i've given up on that company

@alien1999 OPB delay of Shield hero was stupid, especially during the anime broadcast, but OPB would still be way better than Sol press, when it come to delay they're unbeatable plus they manage to be more expensive than most publishers.

Do you like death, war and misery ?
Do you like badass op loli who let nobody got in their way ?
              Do you like vengeance story?
If so then then vote for The girl who ate a death god

I just realized today, High school DxD and Shin High School DxD were deleted from Baka-tsuki. What happened with those 2 projects, someone licensed it or the original publisher requested that?

Translations for this project were removed according to a DMCA request from its publisher, Kadokawa.

Well, this conversation is disheartening. HS DxD is in my top 3 franchises. I've purchased every manga printed as it comes out (digital as I purchase all my books and magazines in digital format). I have each season of the anime. I would buy each LN even if I were to have happened to have read the fan translation. This is the series that finally convinced me to read LNs of manga/anime that I enjoyed.

If you know where to look it can still be found. Hell, I can see 24 volumes on a certain archive I was granted access to. (Well, I buy where available but not everything is licensed for translation).

But I feel you, back before danmachi translation caught up to the fan translation sites I was itching for more and cranky due to the slow pace... that and they got dcma’d... not that I blame the rights holder...

DXD is on my shortlist for reading when I’ve caught up reading everything else. Jnc just keeps adding a handful that bump it down slightly...

I guess part of the problem is going from watching the anime to reading the novel is harder on me!? Shrugs.

                        What am I reading?

@thomask It's not necessarily the "take-down" that has me bummed but the realization that DxD LN will probably never been officially licensed/translated. I've... seen... the 24 volumes that was on baka-tsuki but it pales when compared to having a licensed work.

With some works, I have trouble going from manga/anime to LN. Tate and Sword Oratoria are two examples. But with others, it's the opposite. I saw DxD the anime season 1 first. Went to read the manga after that. Once that got caught up to what was released, I looked for the LN. It was my first foray into LNs and I was hooked on DxD's LN series. Everything else got measured to the LN story. Arifurieta is another one where the LN made it harder to go the manga and anime.
