@kite-xx for what it is worth Volume 1 of reincarnated as a spider was aMaZiNg, like just super duper great.
Reincarnated as a slime was also quite enjoyable.
As for the bidding war reference
It was just in reference to @Terrence saying everyone is talking about isekai but we still don’t have vending machine.
Not all novels go into a bidding war just a few exceptions where multiple overseas companies have interest in the same title.
If a title goes into a bidding war it is gonna come over stateside one way or another.
-
I used to joke about the vending machine one whenever anyone complained about yet another isekai getting licensed... imagine my surprise when it actually got licensed xD I should start joking about Ryuugajou Nanana...
-
Just would like to add my support to hopefully see Saekano translated one day.

I can't believe that High School DxD have never been fully published in English. Any interest in picking up the series?

Any interest in picking up <Boku to Tsundere to Heidegger>?
Synopsis:
Author Junji Hotta has blessed the world with “Tsundere, Heidegger, and Me”, a tour de force of European philosophy… in a world where all the philosophers are self-conscious anime girls. The main character, reincarnated as a high school student after a fatal accident, is summoned by the 7 characters for secret after-school lessons. According to the ITmedia: “Decartes is a haughty princess, Nietzsche is yandere, Heidegger is a long-haired cultural club leader.”

Hey, that's like that composers reincarnated show that got two seasons (Classicaloid?)

Requesting Exterminator. Been reading the fan-scanlations of the manga and the recent chapters look like the story went from a relaxing 3 in speed to 10 in rushing through content. So it'd be nice to be able to enjoy a slice of life series in how it's intended to be enjoyed.
The general premise is that MC ends up in another world where he decides to continue living as he did before, as an Exterminator. It's a fun slice of life where we see him do jobs like exterminating rats, wasps, and roaches with a magical twist. MC is super relaxed about everything and very my-pace. There are 6 volumes out in Japan at the moment.

If J-Novel Club had the resources to pick-up most (at least 90%) to all these suggested titles, this is how I see it happening: it's revenue is at least $1 billion/year and they had 7500+ people on the payroll (this counts staff and contracted workers). The ones that are more likely to get picked up are the ones that are mentioned the most and from companies that already have a great rapport with this site.

I have made a few posts about picking up newer series and older long series now I have a new thing to say. Picking up Niche series would be a good idea. With JNC being pure E-Book once the translation is done, that is where the money goes to since you are not paying for the physical books(if there are any other payments with E-Books I don't know of them). Since with Physical books, you need to pay for every book that is made you could lose money if the series is not popular. but with E-Book the money to make Physical books are cut so if it is not popular it is not as big of a loss. Though I feel like JNC are already doing this to some extent since JNC has books that Yen-On and other companies certainly would not have Licenced (at the time they were). I just want Diversity and as much as possible. and one more point I would like Translations of LN that have no Translation of any kind or a chaotic translation schedule or is dropped by bored fan Translations.

While making a post about first Anime/Manga/LN have ppl watched/read I went down memory Lane and Now I have new Pick Up requests.
Legend of Legendary Heroes
Kaze no Stigma
Slayers -
I agree with your 1 and 3 pick 👍
-
A novel I recommend that is picked up is Shinwa Densetsu no Eiyuu no Isekaitan it is published by overlap and it just released it's 9th volume
-
I read some of the fan translation for Moonlight Sculptor. It was one of the most interesting VRMMO stories I read. The protagonist is a greedy RMT guy who exploits the world, because it pays for his real life expenses.
Also, I'm down for the Mommy Isekai just because Pochi is doing the art. Really like the Elder Sister manga.
-
demon fist of the daydreamer(魔拳のデイドリーマー
) and the strategist that knows everything(軍師は何でも知っている
) are good ones, please consider :) -
I found the ultimate Harem guys:
Shinomiya Paradise Base Harem League Baseball
後宮楽園球場 ハレムリーグ・ベースボール
They fight for the love of the emperor... With Baseball!
(On a side note, these two volumes are 111 yen each on Bookwalker right now, and Amagi Brilliant Park's first five volumes are only 30 yen each).
-
Not currently reachable by J-Novel Club, but I still want it. Give me some Eromanga-sensei. It's such a damn good romcom that I wish would get licensed. Been reading the series for a while but the fan-translations for volume 6 become pretty poor part way through so I wish it was licensed.
-
There's likely no chance JNC will get this, because it's Kadokawa, but I figured I'd bring it up.
Looks like a sequel to the anime Gargantia.
In addition, there's a Bellows manga prequel... Though, I just don't like looking back in prequels. All about the present.
