The thing is, until either the manga, light novels, or anime get licensed in the West (none have been yet), all official licensors have to use the MTL title that is found on the JP books, since that IS the tentative official English title for now. ANN could translate the title in an article any ways they want since they don't license anime, but until CR actually licenses the anime, they have to use that version. I believe this CR article is the one most people have been talking about.

I watched the first 5 episodes of anime. I was thinking it would be like another classic Isekai/Fantasy style anime without any hope but it was fun to watch. I would like to read the light novel as well. I believe it will be popular in time and season 2 would come as well. So licensing wouldnt be a bad choice. I dont know after 2 years my one tiny voice would change a thing but yeah , i would like to see that novel in JNC's library.
Edit: By the grace of the gods and this one little similar. Well Grace of the gods little darker for reasons but as style when i saw this anime , my remembered that novel for some reason. I dont know that novel is popular in JNC but if it is , this one would be popular as well. At least in my opinion.

I would love to get an official english release of this. I've been reading what's been released on one of those web novel websites and also the manga and recently started the anime as well. An official english release would be awesome.

Sam mention bidding for this title. But I don't recall if he said he either didn't receive a reply or he was told it's not available. It's possible that Yen Press has already licensed it, but there's no "official" confirmation about anything so far.

I would love to see this officially translated to English. I've been watching the anime until the latest episode (as of writing, it's ep8), and it's pretty great. I can always hope for an official English release.

Yes, Sam mentioned bidding for this license at some point. I believe he also already said his bid has been rejected though (I think it was on Discord?).

Good for you Kadokawa. People tried to get your books out there early enough to build some groundswell for the anime adaptation and you either said no (because reason?) or shoved it at YP to translate. Here's the anime, people have said good things about it and not announcements even.
grumble......mumble........grouseI want this series with official adaptation.

@jampodevral Seriously, now is definitely the time to get people excited about licensing the light novel if they're going to to it. The anime seems to have a lot of love put into it, and is one of the high points of the current season. It's nice that I can still read the web novel translations, but I'd very much like to see a more professional version of the story, presumably fleshed out and better edited, if other web novel to light novel conversions are any indication.
