The anime was amazing , there were a few translated online for the novels absolutely loved them if it every gets licensed would love to buy a copy of the entire series

i really loved this anime and wish the light novel would get picked up, its just sad to see something like this not get the attention it deserves. it is by far the best harem anime ive ever seen, it doesnt even feel like harem, but just a group of friends where one of them brings along her brother. every feels like real people rather than just some trope for the checklist.

YES!!! YES, PLEASE!!!!!! I REALLY want to know more about Akatsuki's dysfunctional relationship with his businessman brother, and terrorist father! And if he'll eventually reconcile with them! AND especially if he will eventually do it with his harem!

I'd love to read this series, sadly from what I heard it's been on hiatus for a long time and I don't know if the author will ever complete it.

@lex I thought the author had suddenly passed which was why the books went on hiatus… though it was a while ago when i researched this

Looks like the author also wrote "The Testament of Sister New Devil" which just ended last year.

@ellyonia I never heard anything about him passing and a quick search on Google didn't mention that. As cimmadif said the author also wrote another series (that I love, by the way) and I actually saw rumors that he might come back to Hagure Yuusha now that Testament of sister new Devil ended, but it looks like that hasn't happened yet.

@LegitPancake Infinite Stratos is ALSO stalled, and yet J-Novel Club picked THAT one up. So why not Aesthetica?

@MrWii000 Stratos wasn't stalled when JNC picked it up though. Volume 12 came out the same year the license was announced. Aesthetica, on the other hand, hasn't had a new volume since 2013.
Also, Stratos and series like it (old anime + not isekai) turned out to be very poor sellers when the ebooks came out. JNC has no financial incentive to license Aesthetica.

@MrWii000 It wasn't stalled when it was licensed; the announcement and part 1 of volume 1 came out February 2018, and volume 12 was published in April 2018.
