On the one hand, I like the idea of the small harmless-looking pet being the loyal and brave companion, and trying to hide his true nature because he's more concerned about being a companion and friend, which doesn't require superpowers, but just requires being there for her.
On the other hand, I've mostly just read the manga, and I got really, really tired of the nigh-constant focus on the elf adventurer's breasts.
On another note, based on what I've read in the manga, apparently this isn't isekai, and Tama is a reincarnation of a knight from the same setting.

Ahh, hard to say, I dont know if you read the manga, but there is a friend of the elf girl (FMC) - they both come to the conclusion the cat is an elemental beast (if I remember the term correctly) and he asks her if she isnt worried about it, since once he grows up they can crossbreed and he might end up attacking her. The elf goes all like, "I dont mind, hurry up and grow so we can nya-nya a lot". Well more then that, nothing happens for now (atleast not that I am aware off). I dont know if they gonna have ecchi moments with a small cat to play it for laughs and some fan service scenes, or he is going to grow up at some point and "stuff" happens. But before that, we dont even know what the MC/cat really is (I mean if he really is what they are thinking) so who knows if its going to end up like that.
On a side note though, does it really matter? Its fantasy wolrd with an elf. -

But yeah, that is exactly what I mean. She basically flat out tells him that she wants to mate with him.
I mean, just the whole media thing. They bashed several animes already by only looking at appearances and not realizing that the appearances were the exact opposite of their claim. (Like a certain anime being claimed as showing off underaged sex when the character was transforming into a child to AVOID sex).

What I meant to say is if he really is a elemental beast in his current form as they taught. We know he was a behemonth and a knight, but thats all. For now he is just a cat with super powers. So maybe he wont ever grow up and be stuck in this cat body.I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. He could always grow up into some cat-boy, or find some magic that turns him into a human male, maybe into his past self.
EDIT: what im trying to say, is that if something were to really happen, I dont think it would really be classified as bestiality, but then again, I'd rather we dont have any of that. I like the current ecchi played for laughs, and if the author wants to deepen their relationship id rather him use the above mentioned methods.

I'm actually tempted to make a My Dad runs a Death Game topic (Novel Zero title that has a single manga volume and a single LN volume), but I kind of want to space it out (bumped a lot of stuff yesterday).

I honestly think there are a lot of web novels that go beyond that, maybe it wont have any M rated scenes but I think chances are high we'll get something more then cuddling down the line.
