      Update;
      I've made a list in a post below of every downloadable jnovel volume and their latest revision dates. I plan to update it every now and then, and also, if any of you see any updated volumes with newer dates, I'd appreciate if you post in this thread and I'll incorporate it to the list. If down the line there comes an official solution of keeping track of latest changes, of course this list will be deprecated.

      Also keep in mind, earlier versions may have content the later ones don't, for example Kokoro Connect Hito: Random version 22 Aug 2018 has textless illustrations later revisions don't. For those instances I plan to make a separate note in the list.

      I know I've read a similar question here somewhere before, about how to know if there's a new revision of an existing volume, but I can't for the life of me find it so, creating this thread to ask that question.

      I download jnovel volumes to a single folder on my pc so, I could go by the file creation dates, let's say a year old should be safe(?), and redownload those from the library. But, is there any other way about the issue?

        The epubs have a revision number in the copyright page like this one: Ebook edition 1.0: July 2018. But it is not always updated, especially if they only fix minor typos and such.

        The only real way to be sure would be to compare the old epub with the new one with some comparison app. Or simply delete your old files and re-download them all from time to time. It's been asked several times to have a Last Updated date field included in the library view, but no news so far. I guess they might add it with the next site re-design. Who knows...

          @terabyte Comparison apps won't help, the volumes create different checksums each time they have been redownloaded so you may just as well open it and look up the revision number...

          Deleting all files isn't really an option either with close to 200 library items, so I guess my best bet is to go by file creation date and simply hope no major changes happen to titles older than the cutoff date...

            @korppi Well, when I download the newest/last volume of a series I usually re-download just that series. As for comparison, you have to first unzip the files into a folder for it to work. I usually do that and it works just fine for me. Comparing the epub files directly certainly is a problem.

              Some people have created scripts to download their libraries en masse, I think maybe @Guspaz has one? Maybe one of them will pop in here :x

                I've written various API helper functions that can get that sort of stuff, but I've not put them together into an app that specifically loops through the list of books and downloads each one. I've focused more on prepub stuff.

                  I hope some sort of proper revision notification will be part of the site update, it is one of the things that annoys me & with over 50 volumes in my JNC library it isn't like I can just re-download everything all the time for the hell of it. (I mean, I have unlimited internet so I can, but the doing it & buggering around with calibre/kindle for each & every one, then having Kindle be dumb with uploaded books & leave two copies rather than realise it is an update... )

                    My problem isn't the downloading. It's moving all the downloads to my Moon Reader+ directory.

                      As a temporary measure, I went through them and made a list of all last revisions up to current date 21/10 -18 (modified timestamp metadata from calibre). Of note, in late April -18, all existing volumes at the time seem to have been revised?;
