I hadn't watched E1 until yesterday. I found it a bit surprising that they jumped right from Wilfried "nearly killing" Rozemyne at the end of E1 to back at the temple at the beginning of in E2. It gave the impression that the scene was slapstick humor rather than something that actually happened in the plot.
Well, they have lots to cover. They need to cover whole part 3 in one season so I guess lots of it will be cut. FOr people that read book there are lots of "nods" in anime which non book readers will not understand.
Considering that part 2 took two seasons to cover four volumes, I rather doubt that they'll be covering all five volumes of part 3 in a single season. They're far more likely to end this season with the Hasse execution.
