@TheGrimLich I didn’t know Bowlcut-kuns name is Arno (j/k)! I ugly cried when I saw him referred to with such name on Reddit.
I call him Ahno...
As in Schwarzenegger..

@arghc To be fair to Ferdinand back when Fran was in his retinue Arno's machinations to make him suffer were unlikely to act to the direct detriment of Ferdinand. At the very least Arno would've been more mindful of what could get him caught in the event it could hurt his master. But once Fran is serving Rozemyne it becomes easier to hurt him without Ferdinand having opportunity to notice it.
Unfortunately for Arno he pushed that willingness to the extreme and likely underestimated just how emotionally attached Ferdinand was to Myne. How could he? Ferdinand keeps that stuff under wraps and caring for a girl is so contrary to everything that would've been observed about him to that point, to say nothing of how the moments when it's made clear how important Myne is the room gets cleared.

Not related to the plot or anything, just something that made me laugh:
Ascendance of a Bookworm when you can't unhear the guys as JJBA characters
I don't think I'd realized just how many of the Bookworm VAs had voiced JoJo villains until I saw that video.

watches English dub
"Haha how long are they going to keep using 'upper' and 'lesser' noble, and what will they do when they start referring to mednobles? There's no way they'll keep this up in future episodes right guys? Guys?"

IMO they should hire quof to help them with translation :)

The evil look while holding the rabbit stuffie and a pair of scissors. <3
Don't remember what that's about but... 8-) -
@arghc - If I had to guess, it's one of the baby toys for Kamil. I think there was something about a metal ball that jingled and was wrapped in soft cloth? Maybe it wouldn't be too much extra to dress that up as a rabbit or something.
-
@LurkingMcLurk Looks like they moved a scene from one of the extra stories to this upcoming episode. Wonder if they'll still include the visit to Johann for the cat bells or if they'll skip over it again.
-
Everything is set up in this episode (34) for season finale. Last 2 episodes will be epic. Can't say more in order to avoid spoilers :)

I think others have mentioned this, but it is at times way too amusing reading comments on the anime from folks who have clearly not read the LN or Manga.
I mean, MAL can be amusing for other reasons, but this aspect can be especially choice. -
I really like the minor details in this one. Damuel knowing a shortcut that Lutz seemed to not know meant that he'd actually been putting effort into how to quickly get around in the lower city despite his aversion to it.

Minor note: Even in JP, this exact bit hasn't been covered in the manga. They'd know some vague details from the P3 adaptation that references back (and from what I remember searching in the past, p3 only has 1 chapter scanlated), but the specifics would be unknown to them. Only WN and LN readers know for sure.

OK.
I'd tossed in the manga having spaced entirely that JNC is translating it and hasn't reached that section of the story as of yet...Anyway, some of the reactions to the last episode made it more than clear that they had no clue what was coming up next.
And had no knowledge of the power struggle going on at the top of Ehrenfest.Actually, I should be taking the perspective that it's interesting viewing it through the impressions of someone coming across these things for the first time.
I mean, I actually know someone who watched a live performance of Romeo & Juliet without knowing a thing about the story.
I wasn't there, but her mother was.
Hearing about that was an eye opener; probably one of very few in the last several hundred years who watched it of whom that could be said. -

I've been using MAL for over a decade, but very rarely do I venture into the forums. Seems like I may be missing out on something for Bookworm then.
But as for not knowing what's coming, even if you genuinely don't know, surely the sheer size of the Bookworm LN will inform your opinions. Or is that meta-information still in effect a spoiler? I mean, when people talk about Myne's plot armour they have a point, but then they get reminded that her family doesn't have it.
PS sent you a friend request just so you can laugh (or despair) at my tastes in anime so feel free to otherwise ignore it :)

There's probably a good chunk of people that do not know about the LNs. I embarrassingly enough didn't even know LNs were a thing until I started looking for what the anime was based on and I was expecting a manga.

@talisein, OK, so it's got THAT scene from what will presumably be the final episode of this season (
or maybe even next Monday's if the last ep heads into the side storiesEdit: looks like the final ep based on the preview pics below), but it doesn't have the one from ep 31 or therabouts where Myne leaps into her father's arms from halfway up a staircase - now that really shows trust in someone!(recites mantra: S4 please, S4 please, S4 please, S4 please, S4 please)

@LurkingMcLurk, so that's how they're going to do it, with yet another cliff-hanger at the end of an episode - been a few of those already this season.
And I know it's just a trivial thing compared to all the other stuff, but I love how they're still showing the difference between the rinsham users and the rest of the characters.

That is what I was thinking as well based on the last frame. But it makes since, if they stop the show this season instead of continuing, they will really want to think hard about that notion; they need to make it a good ending, thus they cannot rush the ending.
