The amount of clutter reminds me of the magical room for Ferdinand, along with the balances and other material. But I don't remember reading anywhere about that room having a window, so that's out as well.
““E-Excuse me.” The moment I went inside and the door shut, a window appeared in the once-dark room and allowed a bright stream of light to pour inside. It was very sudden, as shutters had been opened very quickly.”

@lurkingmclurk Ah. So I see.
::
And just reread a bit of P2V1 and found Myne's first entry into the room there. And yes, windows are mentioned. Along with a black and white drawing of Myne sitting on the bench with a window to her right. Although the window style is different. The drawing in P2V1 has many small panes of glass with more muntins separating them than the drawing linked by @alexusman or in the manga linked by you.

The 2nd image isn't a spoiler it's the first room in the anime, Myne lies down on the sofa on the right and (spoilers I suppose but easily guessed with little to no impact on the story)
-
@justaidan I know, that's what I said.
We don't see it in full, only some parts if it. I guess they've already filmed the second half by the time this booklet was made. Or all backgrounds were made already.And the spoiler is the first picture.

@alexusman
The second image is not a spoiler. The very first shot of the anime is a slow pan over the left side of this room, and the second shot is the far right corner (with Myne on the seat.)This image gives some context to those two shots. Thank you.

I've just noticed: in the opening scene of episode 1, the Head Priest (blue haired guy, High Priest in LN translation) has been shampooing his hair. I just checked that his hair is normal in episode 14 (which chronologically is earlier.)
-
@libri-liberorum nice catch. I can just imagine the animators doing the equivalent of yelling "Hey Joe, is Ferdinand using shampoo by this scene?"
-
@alexusman
Myne called it, the lecture room -
@libri-liberorum where did you get the idea it's a spoiler?
-
@libri-liberorum As @jcochran said very nice catch. Wait do Benno, Effa etc start doing their hair too at some point?

The connection between tau fruit and trombe tree, and its big scary form is not known until Part 2, so spoiler for anime only people.

I wonder if that is some kind of joke of the animation team. There is definitely no mention of High Priest using the shampoo in the LN up to the end of P2-V2 where that takes place. It would be really interesting to see if they really change his hair in the middle of part 2 in anime.

Effa was immediately using it the first day Myne started using it, so she is always shiny since. I had no recollection of Benno talking about using the shampoo, so looked at the anime and noticed that he is shiny starting on episode 10, when they were talking about the issue with the new shampoo workshop. I'm pretty impressed that Lutz, was only shiny when Myne washed him for meeting with Otto/Benno. That would change in Part 2 when he start working in the store.
-
@hiroto So magical window. :-)
-
@hiroto If I had to guess the order that people started using Myne's shampoo it would be:
- Myne
- Tulli
- Effa
- Lutz
- Corinna
- Bento
After that it was generally available.
Edit to add:
Ferdinand, being both a noble and fairly intelligent, probably started using it after meeting Myne, Lutz and Benno. (Hmmm. Their hair looks very good for commoners.) Myne's attendants, especially the girls, are probably using it too. It would be no surprise to me if Effa has started using it on Gunther by this point. -
@hiroto the tau fruit is the 1st picture, not the second one.

me: imagining Gunther as a sparkling bishounen from shoujo manga
-
@hiroto Yeah, Lutz having used shampoo (or, well, "rinsham") is usually fairly clear, since his hair becomes neat and tidy rather than the usual scruffy look, in addition to the shine.
I remember noticing that Benno's hair started shining as well, with no comment about it, and I immediately thought "ah, he's been using his own product". Same as Mark.
Also Otto got shiny hair after Myne gave Corrina the rinsham. In fact, the biggest surprise for me was that Gunther appears to not bother using rinsham.
-
@unsynchedcheese I forgot about Mark and Otto! I suspect Otto was less of a hard sell than Gunther. Mark would probably fall in line right after Benno.
