Any word on when we'll start seeing this? My #1 most anticipated series :D

No idea. Overlap only announces new volumes about a month in advance which means we know only as far as to what's coming out in April and volume 9 hasn't been listed yet. Gotta check back on a monthly basis for whenever Overlap makes their monthly post at the beginning of each month.

@vowron i also heard that the novel is done but the but they lost the artist for the novels so it's one of the reason's it's pushed back

There is an old mention there of changing from himesuz (illustrator for volumes 1-6) to Ao Nekonabe (volumes 7-8)

@crimson-wise It seemed to be a newer change. The last time I checked it, it only said it was delayed. No mention of any illustrators by name.

@carolinefelicity At this point, it wouldn't surprise me considering how poorly Overlap seems to support series... So many series of theirs just are shotgunned and then never seem to run to completion.

At least half of all their "new" series that come out every month never return/last long.

I doubt it'll get canned.
About 6 months or so ago, the sales figures for the series was at ~400k total.
That's ~50k per volume, which is pretty good for a non-mainstream LN series.
The manga also sold well enough that they recently had to do a reprint.
That being said, the author's new WN that he had started while waiting for vol 9 to get published is getting a publication in August.

The author on twitter often tells his fans to be patient, I feel sorry for him. He gets so excited when a new manga chapter comes out.
The author went and completed the web novel version of vol 9 late last year and once it was done, started up a new WN series in December 2018, which is getting a publication in August.
Must be pretty good to get an adaption so fast. Hopefully JNC picks it up.

But the WN has currently stopped at the end of vol 9 and has been on hiatus since Dec 2018.

I’m looking forward to when volume 9 makes it to publication as well. It’s been one of the series JNC licensed that I’ve enjoyed. As has been mentioned with its relative popularity, hopefully it won’t just be abandoned.
