JP Title: お隣の天使様にいつの間にか駄目人間にされていた件Synopsis: Amane Fujimiya’s neighbor in the apartment he lives in is the school’s number one lovable angel: Excellent and with a level of beauty that can only be described as angelic – Mahiru Shiina. Amane, an ordinary student who doesn’t stand out, is her neighbour, but until now, they didn’t interact with each other. After meeting the soggy angel in the rain: “I’m returning what I borrowed. By the way, clean up your room. It’s filthy.” “None of your business.” A relationship with a sharp-tongued angel begins, starting with handing over an umbrella. From catching a cold and having someone take care of you, to making a meal for someone because they neglected their health, to joint work (cleaning rooms)…
My Thoughts: Can't say much since it's a relatively new series but it did catch my interest and judging by the way the story sounds (By the way I did not use google translate for this one, this time I got this synopsis from Novel Updates) it seems like it will be a nice Slice of life Story! Whether there's more to this Series or not I highly doubt but I think this'll be a fun story to read nonetheless as I do find these kinds of stories fun to read!

Here is more accurate title : The Case of the Neighbourhood Angel Turning Into a Degenerate Unaware

Sounds like the kind of story that I’d like to read. “She’s not quite what she seems, budding romance, teen angst (hopefully without too much cringe inducing drama or saccharine overload) has potential...before I upvote it, has anyone read a volume? Is it any good?

@jon-mitchell you can check it out at NovelUpdates just started translation and it doesnt looks that bad

If you are still interested:
I'd say it a nothing more than a slow, high-school romance. There is some small drama stuff, but it is definitely not the focus up to where I read. It gets quite sugary later on, though (the author even joked about it when he received commentary along those lines). Overall, I thought it was decent, if a bit repetitive.
I haven't compared the LN and WN for the first novel, but I did notice the final scene was expanded on in the LN. And some elements that were in the LN were never mentioned again in the WN. I will probably at least read the next LN release to see if it gets more polish, but I am not sure if I am gonna stay for the long run.
(read the first novel and chapter 35-118 of the WN in the past week or so. The WN has a total of 169 chapters at the moment.)
Edit:
I just noticed the title is slightly off (and so is on novelupdates, so it probably shouldn't be corrected).
Anyway, it should be "Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita ken."
And as English subtitle “She is the neighbor Angel, I am spoilt by her.” -
@theredjet You've got the subject wrong here. The angel is turning him into a disaster.
How The Angel Next Door Turned Me Into a Disaster might work.
-
The author actually got a question about the title:
Q.タイトルから離れてない?
A.このお話は(生活能力的に)駄目人間が(真昼が居ないと)駄目人間になるお話です。The main character is already leading a slovenly life at the beginning. So in a way he was already a 駄目人間/disaster, but the title means it in a different way.

@metastar said in Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Aida ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteiru ken (She is the Neighbor Angel I am Split by Her):
Hmm, then How the Angel Next Door Ruined Me might work.

Just read vol.1 and vol.2 of this series in the last 2 day and I can absolutely say it is good story!!!
if someone has read/watch Saekano, the story here is like how Katou casually become "commuting wife" for Aki even tho they has no romantic feeling with each other (at least at the start).
yes, the MC is your regular low domestic ability guy, then come this "Angel" that after the few first attempt to feed the MC has found that she like it (cooking for other) and it slowly develop to the point she start cooking in MC house and eating dinner together practically every day. well their house is just a wall away and they both living alone.
The progress is slow but it developing nicely, enjoyable fluff and sweet relationship development from stranger into neighbor then dinner friend.
then the conflict, its not much just some background spice to explain why the character is has such personality.Until the end of vol.2 they have not yet officially become a couple but they have been like a married couple living together for more than 6 month.
the release span is a bit worrisome tho, with vol.2 almost a year after the vol.1 even tho its adapted from WN.
10/10 would buy and reread it if it ever got licensed.
for now I'll just casually reread it every few month waiting for new volume release. -
Yen Press has licensed this under the title "The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten".
