Arifureta anime
-
You wait with baited anticipation for months for a series to start and now, you're left crying for weeks waiting for it to end. Sad. Just sad.☹
-
At least we get to have this as a result of the show.
-
@tremorc Ooh, I wonder if GSC plans to do all the girls and Hajime in this nendoroid line-up
-
Finished my Episode 10 Comparison for the anime~ Took roughly 10-11 hours total worth of work. I wish I could retire and just spend all my time doing comparisons. I always enjoy writing them. XD
-
And here we thought they might leave Myu out of the story. Episode 11 might be the best of the whole season, there are a few things one could complain about, but nothing of the usual scale.
-
Well, that had to be the best episode so far. At least they did a decent job with Myu. Even if they did leave a lot of stuff out.
-
Felt almost as if a lot of the stuff which showed the development of Myu and Hajime's relationship was left out, skimmed over and summarised.
But could be worse..... -
@aruseus493 nice summery. I think your caracturization of the story being about coming back in to the light from a dark place is exactly right.
-
So we got our expected CGI mess. I really cannot believe how plain and devoid of structure and color differences these monsters looked. It just stings in the eyes....
The pace was as rushed as always and they cut it short, where they could. But at least it made sense, unlike the early episodes.
They question now is, what is left for the last episode? Given the pace so far, they could cover quite a bit of story. But I expect it to end when they are leaving the town with Kaori. The episode might be filled with just a lot of battle scenes. Let the CGI crap monsters rest in peace....
-
I had given up on this after the first two eps but binged the rest cause I got bored.
I reckon it is more on Smartphone level than Ragnarok level now, plus being attacked by bad CG /Gigguk.
-
@smashman42
Smartphone was much, much better than this slop! -
@lighthawk96 Yeah, that's fair - I should have said closer to Smartphone than Ragnarok.
As bad as this is, I think it is enough to get n00bs into the books, which is more than can be said for Ragnarok.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still pissed they trashed a series I love, but it isn't trashed as hard as Ragnarok was.
-
@smashman42 said in Arifureta anime:
isn't trashed as hard as Ragnarok was.
pretty low bar, but yea, I agree not as bad as Ragnarok.
I wonder how the good/bad the ratings are in Japan, if there's been an uptick in LN sales, etc??
-
@smashman42
I don't know. Even Ragnarok in my opion was much better than this was. At least there was consistency there where here it's just one big thrown together mess. I've read all of Smartphone, Ragnarok, and Arifureta, but in my most humble opinion this one is the worst out of the three by a landslide. But that's just my opinion. -
@lighthawk96 I completely agree with you. I've read all 3 LNs and seen all 3 anime. Arifureta's anime is the worst of them by a lot.
-
While Arifureta was a total bomb, "Ascendance of a Bookworm" is having a promising start. Though the lead in was a bit spoileresque. Just saying.
-
@lighthawk96 Not to mention this season's Cautious Hero, which is what White Fox has actually been working on, is very well animated, and very funny if I do say so myself.
-
@legitpancake Yes! It was hilarious!
-
@lighthawk96 Where is cautious hero streaming?
