Trying to find a saying from one of the recent uploads

As title. I'm looking for a proverb/saying that was described in some chapter released maybe a month ago? I don't remember exactly what it said but the gist was like "learn the basics, then master them, then forget everything you learned (so you can change it and make it your own)". I remember that the Japanese version described in the chapter was simplified to a very short phrase, like three words, and I just can't remember what the phrase was or which series I read it from. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

I don't remember exactly which part but it was in the later half of Volume 9
It was said by Yuuto, to Felicia, then Skavior adapted to it to enhance his technique, he repeated it to Loptor in their battle

It was in Act 4 (part 7 apparently, after checking). The phrase you want is 守破離 (shuhari). Translated as Obey, Break, Transcend.
