Calibre Colour page edit
-
So I have been using Calibre's Edit Book feature to put the Colour pages at the front. That has been working well enough, but there is 1 small thing that's been bothering me, now the EpubReader I've been using says that I'm at the "Color Illustrations" section throughout the book. its a small and petty issue that I can live with, but its been bothering me, does anyone know a way I can fix this?

After you save the new file, try to convert the epub to epub (or whatever you need), and in the page setup page pick the reader type you are using. Converting the book might rewrite the tags for the pages. /shrug worth a shot.

I'm doing the same thing, but I haven't had this issue. I'm also modifying the ToC so that it's in the right order in that. It might be confusing the epub reader that you are using that you have material that is at the start of the book, but in the ToC it is at the end.

i usually need to edit the ToC.xhtml, ToC.ncx, Content.opf apart from just moving the illustrations, granted i read on my phone using the ibooks app so it doesnt really tell me its specifically "Color Illustrations" section but it does work when clicking on chapters/sections in the ToC within the book + ToC that shows from the app.
Contents.opf btw i need to edit so that the book still keeps the correct author set as for whatever reason "creator id = id 1" which is author shows as 4th in the list so resaving the book wrongfully sets illustration or translator as the original author

Ill try these, thanks. Its not a big deal and everything else still works like if I select a chapter it takes me to the correct place etc.
