I am surprised we did not have a topic for this already. The light novel is actually being fan translated, I dropped it at volume 4 because the story is just meh.
Fat, ugly, bullied kid gets isekaid via a door in his grandfathers home.
Levelling up in the other world makes him strong and beautiful.
MC is able to return via the door at will, comes back to modern world and turns his live around.
MC tries to live a double life, on in his original world and one in the isekai world.
MC gets involved with the usual end of the world plot and a princess. -
The illustrations are really top class though. The story may be generic as hell but all the girls look amazing...

Same way for pornos. Usually the actors look amazing but you can forget the plot.
So I did never come to actually read it although I have the epubs lying around. So I will hold back with my vote till I read them. Nothing against generic stories. Mostly every literary work has a part/trope whichw as used elsewhere. But it can still be a good read.

I read half of a chapter of a fan translation.
Regardless of the translator, I wasn't impressed.
The problem is that the story spent half of a fairly long chapter complaining about how bad the main character's life was, how everyone except his grandfather bullied him continually (including his parents), and how he was ugly and fat.

The series has potential, especially for those who enjoy the concept or have the dream as readers of a better life.
Main character is bullied by everyone and cares for by only his grandfather who leaves him with an inheritance.
What becomes wrong with the series, I think I reached volume 4, was the introduction of Mary Sue style characters or events, not that I'm complaining since many series have these moments.
Would I read it if licensed, yes. Would I place it on my priority reading list... Sadly I would have to say no -
