How do you change the font size when reading
-
Hello,
If you are on a desktop there is a gear icon in the top right of the reader that will allow you to change the font.
If you are on mobile, it is still in the top right it is a grid pattern, and after you tap that the gear icon appears and you can change the font size.
If you have any further questions, or suggestions for the new website please post them in the following topic.

Thank you.

Not seeing it on my iPad

The only place I see a gear icon is in the user drop down menu of the forum page and it doesn’t give an option for font

Web reader. When I looked at home, series, and calendar pages there are no icons on top of the page.
-
@drocks You won't see it until you've opened the reader itself.
-
Sorry, but at this point you should post in the new website feedback topic, https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3427/new-website-feedback?page=1
Someone will hopefully be able to further help you assist you if you explain the situation in there.
As I am not sure why you do not see the gear icon on the top right when you open a part to read.

I did notice when I started to read a book that a gear icon showed up momentarily but I wasn’t given a chance to do anything before it went to the content

Ok, if I hit it really fast I can change the font size, but is a real pain.

@drocks Ok, I just tried this on my phone and I think I know what you're talking about. When you're in the reader try tapping somewhere in the middle of the page (it needs to be in the middle [dead center] so that the reader won't change pages when you tap) which should cause the interface to pop back in.
I'm going to say it's certainly not the easiest thing to use on a mobile browser, and as Rahul suggested, it should be mentioned in the new web site feedback topic.

@jpwong I just tried on my iPhone and it's pretty evenly divided into thirds on my screen - left third = go left; middle third = bring up options; right third = go right. I do not get a sensation at all of "if I don't tap exactly in the center it will try to navigate to another page instead." What device are you testing on?

Galaxy S10 in vertical, I just feel like when I tried tapping more than somewhat off center the page moved instead of bringing up the interface, but if the columns are all 1/3 rather than something like 1/4-1/2-1/4 I could see why it would seem like that.
I'm not really bothered by it, I don't think I'd ever be using the reader on my phone in the first place if I wasn't trying to troubleshoot something.
