General Anime Discussion (what are you watching now?)

On an off chance, I decided to watch O Maidens in Your Savage Season. Mari Okada wrote both the original story and the screenplay. It's an adolescent slice of life that doesn't have everyone behaving like typical LN characters. It's refreshingly different and seems rather "real". I haven't chucked quite so much since I watched Tsuredure Children. I won't claim it's everyone's cup of tea, but I'm enjoying it so far.

@Paul-Nebeling I thought it was very good as well. As always the Great Geoff Thew has [a great https://youtu.be/jJCYLqdEhBg). As well as a great list of longer series to watch while we are all cooped up.
I just finished Science Fell in love which was hard to watch for more than a few minutes at a time without yellat the screen or hurting myself laughing. I'm trying to keep cought up on Bofuri, Dendrgram , HeroAca, and may try to work through my back log over spring break.
I finaly watched "Season" 5 of Miraculous on Netflix then Last week binged the whole thing again. And I've been mainlining fanfic ever since.

Bofuri and some Railgun T although I need to catch up to the latter since only Bofuri is legally available to me via Muse Asia's YT channel

Re:Zero - director's cut. The end of episode 23 was such a gut punch in the original watch, just as painful in the rewatch D:

The new Sakura Wars anime got some flack because of its CG animation. But IMO it's a step forward compared to previous CG anime. I think the action scenes and storyboarding were at least pretty well done.
I also like how they said the story would be original and not connected to the game. Still dunno if I'd follow it though.

I'm currently watching the 4th season of Sword Art Online

Just finished Darwin's Game on suggestions of another, and nearly done Shield Hero (e12)
Not sure what I'll dig into next... probably a dub of something...

Currently SAO, Re: Zero, Holmes of Kyoto
Haven't found Season 2 of Kaguya-sama or Season 3 of Danmachi.
Starring to feel like the anime company watered down Holmes of Kyoto a little too much.
Edit to add:
Also watching Konosuba, laughing all the way. -
-Mao Gakuin
-Rent-a-Girlfriend
-The God is Highschool
-Monster Girl DoctorWaiting on SAO until I finish the novels (temp on hold, 15 I think)

I'm slowly watching Abilities Average, and it's a bit weird after reading the LNs for years.
They cut out most of the Mile / Adele humor that amused me, for example all of the hunter school arc where she is trying badly to be a "normal" girl and is satisfied with herself when her cunning plans succeed (in her mind).
Instead the humor is "someone calls her flat-chested and she explodes". It's replacing sly and clever fun with dumbed-down farce.
It's "Abilities Average for Dummies."
