Irregular at Magic High Visitor Arc

Received the series on Friday, and have binge-watched it twice while adding it to my media server.
Thoughts on the English dub cast: it's OK, mostly.
The VA chosen for Juumonji has a voice more suited to a "smaller" character, being much higher than the Japanese VA. It doesn't evoke thoughts of a hulk of a man.
The VA for Kokonoe made me think of other works he's voiced, not Kokonoe. He had a "different sort of playfulness" that probably works, so long as you didn't listen to the Japanese VA.
The VA for Tatsuya didn't match the Japanese VA, but that was mainly that he seems a bit more emotional than the original. Absent watching the original Japanese leading up to the dub, though, he's fine.
The female VAs were the typical lowering of pitch vs Japanese, and were fine.
The story stuck pretty much to the Visitor Arc of the novels, although a number of things were cut out. Frankly, that's a good thing, although some were set-ups for future stories. But they left in, in complete detail, Honoka's humiliation by Pixie.
The introduction of the character Minami was done though an original story, which worked well.
I have to wonder if they'll go back and dub the previous series and movie to get another cut of the distribution pie. And I'm still interested in the rumor about v8 being animated as a movie. Maybe with the first part of v5 used as a wrapper for the events of v8, instead of the post-Scorched Halloween meeting.
