I feel like I've gotten so many spoilers on this already from YouTube suggested clips and Crunchyroll Twitter posts, ha ha. 24 episode season too, right? I might wait that out.
The other two, I'd rather read the light novels (though, I wasn't feeling Overlord after volume 1; I need a little romance in my anime, beyond just comedic lust that likely won't go anywhere).
That "Ramens" anime that looks interesting, but it is also an LN iirc.

Any shows you guys recommend binging? I'm already watching Citrus. I'm still early on Laid-back Camp.
Darling in the Franxx I think I've spoiled a decent amount of happenings up to the beach episode courtesy of Twitter and YouTube suggested videos, but that's an option I guess.

Quickly skimming through the list of shows, here's what stands out to me. I picked shows that I would watch again in addition to having good animation, voice acting, music, etc., basically stood out as an anime and wasn't just a flat adaptation.
- Seraph of the End (action, manga)
- Mob Psycho 100 (action, manga)
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (action, manga)
- Haikyu (sports, manga)
- Re:Zero (isekai fantasy, LN)
- KonoSuba (isekai fantasy, LN)
- Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (slice-of-life, manga)
- Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (action, LN)
- No Game No Life (isekai games?, LN)
- Kill la Kill (action, original)
- Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works (action, VN)
- Your Lie in April (drama, manga)
- Recovery of an MMO Junkie (slice-of-life, manga)
- GAMERS! (romantic comedy, LN)
- Yona of the Dawn (action/drama, manga)
- Samurai Champloo (action, original)
- ERASED (mystery, manga)
- NEW GAME! (slice-of-life, manga)
- Chihayafuru (josei sports/drama, manga)
- Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers (action/mystery, LN)
- The Garden of Sinners (action/drama, LN)

I've watched / taken a chance on everything listed but:
Feel like I need to read novels first:
- Seraph of the End
- Full Metal Panic!
- Is this a Zombie?
- The Garden of Sinners
- GAMERS! (romantic comedy, LN)
To Watch:
- Barakamon (slice-of-life/drama, manga)
- Chihayafuru (josei sports/drama, manga)
Thanks. =]
For this particular season, I'm looking at starting:
Basilisk (These stories don't start until someone kicks the bucket, so I'm kind of waiting to hear of some tragedy to start it)
A Place Further Than The Universe (worth it?)
March Comes In Like A Lion (that's a lot of episodes to watch though for a Shogi Anime..)
Karakai Jozu No Takagi-san
I kind of like romance, especially unpredictable romance... But it looks like few of this season's have that. Like, Dagashi Kashi feels like I'd be wasting my time if there is no official ship.

Seraph of the End is a manga, not a novel. Not sure if that changes anything.
Kara no Kyoukai is a series of movies, each movie adapts one LN, I would say you really don't need to read the books first, they're one of Nasu Kinoko's very first works so I bet they're not that great to begin with :x

This season is pretty bad in general, in my opinion, there's like 2 shows I'm watching where I used to follow 10-15 per season in my anime-watching prime. I also don't really know what "unpredictable romance" is, since most romance stories intend for the audience to anticipate the forthcoming romance in order to have any impact, otherwise it will feel unearned if the work put towards a relationship doesn't pan out and the characters end up with people outside expectations.

I also don't really know what "unpredictable romance" is...Unpredictable for me means a few possible things:
- The romantic partner is not the forced lead / main cover girl of the marketing material. Someone who gets almost equal billing or no billing on the cover.
-
Triangle romance. White Album 2 has really nice relationship development, both platonically and romantically. And yes, these can be cheesy sometimes, but I love my cheese. And I like getting my heart broken sometimes.
-
Character death forces a change to the romantic partner. Of course, I wouldn't want to know this, but usually these ones go hand in hand with one of the above two features, so you aren't spoiling the plot by saying "relationships are unpredictable" (unless you just outright say this).
Some harem are ok to at this, like I haven't watched it through, but I hear Shuffle does a decent job being unpredictable in the anime version. I think being based on a visual novel that has multiple endings / no true end means you can be unpredictable.
