@BREAKERMASTAH What is this story about? The devil princess sounds interesting. Why do you like it? Do you have any Japanese light novel covers for Akuma Koujo or Akuma Koujo II? Or any manga covers if you are looking for the comic version of the story?

JNC licenses only published LNs. If this is a WN you're better off asking Cross Infinite World instead as they've already licensed several WNs: http://www.crossinfworld.com/
-
@Terabyte it has come out in LN version 2 volume out in jp
-
Hmm, is that the novel where the MC is a golden demon cat at the start? If so, I‘m definitely voting for J-Novel Club to pick it up!
-
@Silver-Sugar-Duchess
Yes, it is. -
@piisfun One reason more to read it, if you ask me.
-
The OP wording and lack of the actual title in the thread title confused things but the cover art reminds me that (while I haven’t read it) I do have the first volume because I’m very fond of the author (Harunohi Biyori)’s other published work.

MAL and ANN have no entries for this work.
Slightly edited DeepL MTL of the Bookwalker Synopsis (not to be relied upon as totes accurate, in other words.):
--Dreaming of a world full of light.
A family. School. Friends. Trains. Buses. Movies. Books.
I grew up in a world of light, and at the ...... end of the day, in a white room, I was surrounded by darkness.
When I woke up from the dream, I was a small demon in a world called the demon world.
...I want to go home...
I was longing for the world of light that I had seen in my dream.
Then one day, I jumped into the "summoning gate" that appeared in front of me.
When I woke up again, I was reborn as a human baby.
I was born as a human baby in the Sacred Kingdom. It was a human world different from the world I desired to return to.
I, a demon with only the power of a baby, am terrified.
I must hide the fact that I am a demon...Come, my dear humans.
Give your despair to "I", the Devil.
Based upon the DeepL MTL, it appears to be a work concerning someone most likely originally from our reality who, upon their death, was reborn as a young demon in a Demon World.
Desiring to return to the world they vaguely remembered as a dream, when a Summoning Gate appeared in their vicinity they (literally) leapt at the chance presented to them in the hopes that it would lead them "home."
It didn't.
Instead, they were reborn (again!) into the body of a baby in a human world of the fantasy medieval type.
Retaining her abilities as a demon. (Of course she does.)
It's a society that is hostile toward demons. (Scary!)
Concealing that aspect of herself is necessary for survival.I really question the validity of the DeepL, Google, and RomajiDesu MTL utilities rendering of the final line, その絶望を“悪魔《わたし》”に捧げよ。, which is why I didn't attempt to summarize that bit.

Concealing that aspect of herself is necessary for survival.That's basically correct, based on what I read of a fan translation (WN version, before the LN version existed)
It should be added that there are good reasons for the extreme hatred of demons: in this setting, they have a tendency to cause mass-murder incidents. The main character is actually significantly more restrained than most other demons due to the influence from her previous life. That is to say, she only goes into a murderous rampage if you attack on of the few things she actually cares about... like her parents.
So, naturally, every time you turn around, another batch of demon-worshiping cultists seems to have sprung up from nowhere. And no one ever would ever question why demon-worshiping cultists seem to be getting killed by demons…

Where did the OP get "Demon Noble Girl" when "The Devil Princess" is literally in English on the cover?

Did not see that... but no, she isn't a princess in the English sense.
Didn't Quof complain about how "hime" (I think that's the word) didn't always translate to "princess," because JP<->EN translation stuff?
That appears to be part the problem here...
(As for the title, they likely pulled it from NovelUpdates...)

@LegitPancake
I suspect @piisfun hit it on the nose, given the OP having been modified by a mod to remove a link.
Ah.
Just checked, yes, that's how it shows up there. -
@piisfun It's a bit different here. It's neither hime (姫) nor oujo (王女) but koujo(公女), which jisho helpfully lists as "young noblewoman; princess." Not an expert myself but I usually see the 公 kanji used with duke-level nobility, like in Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter (公女殿下の家庭教師), which of course seems to be LN authors' favorite nobility level. In general, though, I wouldn't take English titles on Japanese LN covers too seriously, they're not professional or official translations, are often amusingly off, and presumably are just aesthetic for marketing purposes over there.

@Lisast
Adding on, 悪魔 (Akuma) seems to be treated as either "devil" or "demon" in equal measure, depending upon the context?So you've got 《[devil/demon(type context sensitive)][young noblewoman(rank context sensitive)]》, so I suppose we can't really say which of the various possible interpretations it would be until we've read enough of the story to know her race from the first reincarnation and the status of her family in the world of her second reincarnation.
Context counts, after all.

I just found out that this is serialized last year. Hope it gets translated.
-
Read the web novel some time ago, it‘s quite good.
-
@BREAKERMASTAH
I approve of this, please please please... before another company that shall not be named snatched this and curse us with a slow release!! -
two volume out with kadokaw
Wait, wasn't Kadokawa a YP monopoly? or was that an outdated info?
-
@bedwetter_alice Kadokawa sort of owns JNC now so it would be possible for JNC to get a Kadokawa title
