Although it kind of is a typical VRMMO series, the characters are well written and very enjoyable, and despite being pretty OP the main character still faces actual challenges and difficulties. Her personality is very fun as well, in my opinion.

I tried reading the WN, and it turned out to be pretty good.
It's a VRMMO story that takes place in the future when VR technology has become extremely advanced. The main protagonist is Rare, a girl playing as an elf who discovered the system in the game that allowed her to take NPCs and monsters as subordinates and farm XP more effectively than the other players. Since she doesn't want other players to follow her path, she conceals her discovery and pretends to be something of a final boss NPC, while simultaneously taking over the game world.
While the main protagonist in the story is pretty OP, this doesn't make the story feel stale. There's enough conflict in the story to make it work. The story itself reminded me a bit of Her Majesty's Swarm, though I personally enjoyed Golden Experience more.

@DracO-S-01-0 I just started reading the fan translation, and cannot wait to see the official when it comes out. I really enjoy that it is "no stakes" other than ego series. I prefer these to the portal/reincarnation/reborn isekai out there.
