Is there a setting to change the font size in the browser view of prepubs? In Safari on my iPad the only way I can find to do this is to zoom the browser page, which then pushes the edges of the page off-screen.

I'd like to be able to just change the font size from "5" to "6", and there are probably other readers who would want "4" or "7".

I've never tried the app, is it for iPads too, and would it solve this?

@HarmlessDave Do you not see these options in your browser?

And yes, the app works on tablets and also has a font size option.

Does safari allow you to see the "border" above/below the text when you put the cursor in it? It shows the title as some links to view various sections of the book.

There's a gear icon there, which allows changing the font size. Like Myskaros' picture. You have to move your finger to just below the top of the page.

@SomeOldGuy said in Browser view of LN prepubs - font size?:

You have to move your finger to just below the top of the page.

You should also be able to click/tap the center of a page to toggle it.

@myskaros What I've seen is that fairly often, when you switch to another tab/app, switch back, and Safari has to reload a page; not only does it reset the font size, the header with the settings control gets pushed off the top of the screen.

Sometimes reloading the page will fix it; sometimes I have to switch to the Calendar page, then re-load the part, before the header position re-sets and I can change the font setting.

@Travis-Butler Ah, yeah, that's an issue that we have on the list to fix when we can. In that case, I would just suggest getting the app so you don't have to deal with that bug.

                  Thanks everyone.

Reading in portrait mode my iPad in Safari it does hide the header, but tapping the center of the page brings it back and I found the gear setting. I'm now set.
