Does scribd have permission to post your translations. It looks official in some places and they have info in faqs saying they pay authors. But it looks like a piracy site in other ways. They say they comply with dmcas so if they don't have permission you can ask them to take down. But just wanted to check

Scribd looks suspect as heck, yes.
And I'm pretty sure some stuff there is suspect.
There's a reason they have that DMCA takedown request link, they acknowledge that some who place items for sale via them don't have the proper rights to do so.In this case...
The question has been raised in the forums previously.
J-Novel does use Scribd as one of their retail sites.
But they'd rather you asked when it's legit than not ask when it turns out to not be legit, so you done good by checking.
