I haven't seen a topic for this one beyond the announcement that it was being made back in December 2021. Apologies if there's already been a topic for it or JNC has already addressed whether or not they plan on licensing this one in the future.

Alternate names: 悪友の俺がポンコツ騎士を見てられないんだが、どう世話を焼きゃいい? ~まどめ外伝~, A Bad Friend's Dilemma: How to Babysit a Crybaby Knight, A Villain's Dilemma: How to Not Meddle too Much with a Clumsy Holy Knight's Life
      Author: Teshima Fuminori
Artist: Futaba Momo (character design by COMTA, storyboard by Hako Itagaki)
      Publisher: Hobby Japan
      Volumes: 1 (ongoing)

Synopsis [from MAL]: A clumsy knight and a magician who struggles to understand his own feelings. The story of how two arch-enemies end up closer than they ever thought they would be. Spin-off of Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf wo Yome ni Shitanda ga, Dou Medereba Ii?, which follows the daily life of Barbaros on his job of protecting the Captain of the Holy Knights, Chastille Lillvqvist.

Comments: I've already said in some threads that this pair is my favorite in the series, and I'd love to see their spin-off licensed. It's just very cute (-Barbatos almost commits murder a few times- … cute). Additionally, this series is where the characters of Rachel and Vepal (recent additions as of LN 15 and 16) were formally introduced (it seems the novels are being written with the assumption that you already know their backgrounds from this spin-off).

As of this post, there are 10 chapters in all on FireCross. The first volume was published in Japan on Nov. 1, 2022 (the same day as manga v9 and LN v16) and includes chapters 1-6. The artist, Futaba, is also the artist for Campfire Cooking in Another World: Sui's Great Adventure.
