Is Acting a Form of Isekai?

Stupid thought, but I was just thinking about how acting, especially in a long running series, might be a form of Isekai. For a brief period of time, the actors are essentially transferred to the world of the show, needing to learn horseback riding, archery, swordcraft, fighting, etc. Things we will never really need in this world.

Of course green screens and movie productions probably keep the actors firmly grounded in this reality.
